"Civility", cont.: no H-O-N-E-S-T-Y allowed during any prim, proper political patronization party

OH! Isn't this politician SWEET and GLIB. Her very name, Elizabeth Warren, is a paragon of Anglo-Saxon mellifluity. How can one do anything but love her? Nothing she could ever do would offend, because she is so gentle, so kind, you'd never know she was a pretty major Obama henchwoman!

Don't miss her picture -- her blonde hair in an 'umble Mennonitish style, her friendly blue eyes, her ever-youthful skin like a strawberry milkshake:

We all want to be polite like the good little boys and girls we were in kindergarten. Civility is in itself essential to any kind of political stability. The question is when civility means total Stepfordization, homogenization, the sheeple becoming a sort of imitation vanilla all together, a blank slate on which sweeeeet, gentle communists can write any obscenities they want. In this case, the warm and tender politician is a witch from hell, as revealed when she benignly, blessedly has a prophet hauled off by the fuzz for daring to call her and her so-called president exactly what they are.

From the article:

Warren has claimed to be the intellectual author of the Occupy Wall Street movement, which is a pretty thin accomplishment indeed. At a recent meeting in Brockton, Massachusetts, a heckler demanded to know if this were so. Saying he had been unemployed since February 2010, he wanted to know why Warren supported job-killing government borrowing, spending, and regulation. Warren replied that she supported Obama’s “jobs bill” — apparently, just like God. Outraged, the man called her a “socialist whore” and stated, “Your boss” is “foreign-born.”

While no one can excuse his choice of language, one thing comes out clearly from this exchange: Like so many other average Americans, this man has a far better grasp on which policies generate wealth than the president and his most influential advisers.

I think it's time to stop worrying about people's "choice of language" if it's 100% truthful. THEY call US every evil name in the book, working overtime to establish freedom lovers in the sheeple's mind as Public Enemy #1. THEY allow THEIR "hecklers" to TAKE OVER OUR MEETINGS and shout down our speakers; the police are kind enough to escort the silenced to safety, but not to guarantee their First Amendment rights like they did for the anti-Constitutional Ms Warren.

For VisionToAmerica to wring its hands over this "heckler's" choice of language seems to me a major symptom of the problem. It amounts to a pulling back on the reins in the great political horse race. The opposition is throwing bricks and smoke bombs at us, killing and imprisoning not a few, but we still don't want to offend them too bad. While we're on the subject of words, I do wish they wouldn't call Obummer the "president".

It may be significant -- and is at least amusing -- how two similar populist news sources cover another story this morning:

In the body of CowboyBytes' email, the link's wording was "Obama Defies Congressional Subpoena", but oh boy, their actual URL is less gutsy:

http://cowboybyte.com/1687/white-house-fires-back-at-overbroad-subpoena-on-solyndra-documents/

Regrettably, I don't ever see these Cowboys calling somebody a socialist whore either, a term that describes not only most Congresscritters but most government employees right down to the Anderson County Council.

Let's not be too hard on conservative Christian thinker Gary DeMar's Vision to America site. It's one of the few I have a daily subscription to. A few more of its recent gems:

http://visiontoamerica.org/5323/ayn-rand-did-not-understand-capitalism/

This one is especially intriguing, because Ayn Rand, while at least a staunch anti-communist, has ever struck me as humanist oddball in some ways. At the Charlotte PN meeting last week we had a short but rich discussion on what exactly it is the Occupy movement is protesting. Some were confused since "capitalism" is one of the participants' main targets. I tried to explain that capitalism is a dangerous word; people confuse it with free enterprise, but our movement's best minds have maintained that capitalism really boils down to those having the most capital for political and business projects invariably using them to run and ruin whole societies. Monopolism might be a good synonym.

Capitalism is what ruined Russia. In that instance, the communist were the ones who aggregated all capital to themselves and used it, well, for the same things ameriKa's fedgov is so busy doing now -- playing world policeman on angel dust, waging no-win "wars" in hellholes like Afghanistan and building a ruthless police state over the heads of its own constituents.

Free enterprise is the thing. Capitalism was once synonymous with it for working purposes in this country, but nowadays we know that the runaway, lawless capitalism of the multinational corporations kills free enterprise and destroys the value of money through its selfish support of sick monetary policies. It is communist capitalism that has moved millions of American jobs offshore and is now prating endlessly about government's magical ability and grave obligation to do "job creation".

Communist capitalism makes war on small business (notably the family farm) and leads to faceless mega-industrialization of the work world and (for instance) tomatoes lacking meaningful color, taste and nutrients -- a gauge I use in vetting societies just as some people use the "Big Mac principle".

Ayn Rand (real name Alisa Rosenbaum) was a pro-abortion atheist whose ideas on freedom came to include "open marriage" as her young disciple Nathanael Branden (real name Blumenthal) inflamed her passions. She helped inspire the capital-L Libertarian movement into existence, whereby another gang of atheist relativists -- for all their good points -- stole another great word from proper English. Such types have always borrowed heavily from Biblical ethics and principles; we can use and cannibalize their work for Christ, too.
