The persecution and marginalization of Ron Paul: special to the "but I like Paul Ryan" crowd!

Do vote Republican if you must vote -- but do so advisedly, please. The "lesser of two evils" thing grows less sustainable as candidates from "the two major parties" grow more identical.... and indistinguishable from Vlad the Impaler.

A lot of people are applying this "two evils" thing to the Republican side without realizing it. Mitt rMoney is repugnant beyond belief -- a communist from hell masquerading as a white knight -- but few conservatives seem to have the guts to admit it, even to themselves. Since it's not cool to say on actually favors rMoney but still very much in vogue to cheer the GOP, the party line is "Sure, I don't have any use for rMoney -- but I like Paul Ryan!"

Now you know what the Vice President position really exists for -- to give people an excuse to keep in their same old rut while fancying they're saving some dignity. Since the Veep is purely superfluous other than that, voting for rMoney and Ryan on this basis leaves only one implication hanging in midair, i.e. that people are reduced to hoping the main robot breaks down early in the term so the spare can swing into motion.

All this, my friends, will never change the fact that the whole country knows that they've blown their last chance by not turning out for Ron Paul this year. That's it -- that's the end! There are other fine statesmen to elect such as Gary Johnson but if folk are not going to choose a Congressman with a proven multi-decade record on issues, I hardly think they'll ever declare for a "mere" former governor, because.... well.... it's not what the media are promoting!

Pardon my jaundice. /\/.\/\/.

Sovereign citizens declared human beings in bizarre/wonderful ruling

There are groups that claim to monitor "hate" and supposed threats to society from people only guilty of wanting a normal life for themselves and their country. These groups work overtime to convince police, people, government, military, schools et al that patriots are dangerous anti-government wackos waiting to happen. Surely you caught a headline from earlier this week -- "preppers are to be treated as terrorists" in the event of a national crisis of some kind? These hater-chaser organizations are the exact, specific, original source of all such Bizarro brain waves. The public as public enemy #1? Pure communism.)

Once in a while, though, and not all that rarely, some court rules that controversial patriotic activity and even arcane patriot legal action is lawful. Remember, the one liberal hate group (well, that's what they are) has a whole page attempting to defame me, Dr. Clarkson and other Anderson, SC-area activists.... but the state Supreme Court twice declared the Patriot Network's operations legal!

The following story just in. It almost defies belief and one is left to wonder whether it would have ended differently if the accused were white. Yes, government and law are racist against the white majority now, that's how it is, partly because said race is normally the least susceptible to socialist schemes and propaganda. Let's be real -- the New York Times has it that 88% of another race is already lining up to vote for Obama. Its preachers are furiously beating the bushes for their congregations to get out to those polls, and it's not out of any abstract, nonpartisan love of democracy!

This production has an all-black cast -- previously unheard of, and encouraging:

An actual former governor with brains is running for President

Have you heard his name in the wind, as I have? Heard he was good, didn't know he could claim rank as a former Gov. Have only heard the first 15 minutes, but they are extraordinary.

Fantasyland blending into wacky world

"Bush Tours America To Survey Damage Caused By His Presidency". "New Wearable Feedbags Let Americans Eat More, Move Less." "High School Tonys Honor Nation's Drama Club Nerds." Via Youtube I've just been touring old and new satirical news segments produced by the brilliant (if socialistic) "Onion News Network" -- and these are some of their hilarious headlines. They're so outlandish, thank God that reality could never possibly scan so weirdly in serious journalism -- right?

That's what I keep thinking, but then a story like this one comes along. You tell me which is less surreal, please -- The Onion's incredibly deft work with scripts, sets, lights, actors, and technology or the fact that something like THIS could come about in any country that even vaguely considers itself "free":

http://reason.com/blog/2011/04/25/state-dept-proposes-creepy-imp
State Dept. Proposes Creepy, Impossible-To-Answer Questions for Passport Applications
http://www.consumertraveler.com/today/state-dept-wants-to-make-it-harder-to-get-a-passport/

If you don’t want it to get even harder for a U.S. citizen to get a passport — now required for travel even to Canada or Mexico — you only have until Monday to let the State Department know.
The U.S. Department of State is proposing a new Biographical Questionnaire for some passport applicants: The proposed new  Form DS-5513 asks for all addresses since birth; lifetime employment history including employers’ and supervisors names, addresses, and telephone numbers; personal details of all siblings; mother’s address one year prior to your birth; any “religious ceremony” around the time of birth; and a variety of other information.  According to the proposed form, “failure to provide the information requested may result in … the denial of your U.S. passport application.”

The State Department estimated that the average respondent would be able to compile all this information in just 45 minutes, which is obviously absurd given the amount of research that is likely to be required to even attempt to complete the form.

It seems likely that only some, not all, applicants will be required to fill out the new questionnaire, but no criteria have been made public for determining who will be subjected to these additional new written interrogatories.  So if the passport examiner wants to deny your application, all they will have to do is give you the impossible new form to complete.
It’s not clear from the supporting statementstatement of legal authorities, or regulatory assessment submitted by the State Department to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) why declining to discuss one’s siblings or to provide the phone number of your first supervisor when you were a teenager working at McDonalds would be a legitimate basis for denial of a passport to a U.S. citizen.......

Courtesy of Obie, more international embarrassment for ameriKa

It was humiliating that such an extreme socialist as Obummer would ever show up among Pezidential candidates five years ago. It was painful and simply unbelievable when such a freak got the Dummacrat nomination. It was unbearably when it "won".

Its term has created one international scandal/outrage/CRIME after another. But parallel to its serial military rapes in the Mideast, its crushing of basic freedoms at home, its grand larceny of the public wealth and vast enrichment of cronies, its damnable official insults on everything decent, is the "private" scandal of its Limo-based homosexual tryst/murder, its neglect of its impoverished relatives in Africa, its wife micHELLe's seven-figure foreign vacations, ad inf.

Coming over the horizon to meld the profound public and private offensiveness of all this is the following:

 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2223316/Outrage-Girls-star-Lena-Dunhams-election-video-paid-presidents-campaign.html#ixzz2AQ7zZNSx
'My first time was with Obama': Outrage over Girls star Lena Dunham's election video paid for by the president's campaign

With the "socialization" of everything comes the sleazification of everything. As society abandons and then insults God, it goes for every kind of perversion and depravity with a passion. Everything has to be "sexy" now, say everyone from the unwashed lower lower class to the executives at Young and Rubicam. Original this word was applied in a purely arch/slangy/funsy sense, but as we became the new Roman Empire the literal meaning came to the fore.

And who but Sexless Wonder Obummer would move to literally sexualize a Pezidential campaign out in the open? The next question is exactly who is this tattooed imp, Lena Dunham? Get this!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lena_Dunham
Dunham was born in New York City.[2] Her father, Carroll Dunham, is a painter of "overtly sexualised pop art", and her mother, Laurie Simmons, is a photographer and designer who creates "disquieting domestic tableaux" with dolls.[3][4] Dunham's father is Protestant, and according to Dunham, a Mayflower descendant;[5][6] Dunham's mother is Jewish.[7][8] She has a younger sister, Grace, who is a model and student at Brown University and who starred in Dunham's first film Tiny Furniture.[9] As children, both Lena and Grace were babysat by photographers Sherri Zuckerman and Catherine McGann.

Wikipedia is a leader in sleazing everything up and is very pro-Obama, and even pro-Lena Dunham. But don't miss how even Wikipedia has to remark that

Dunham appeared in a video advertisement promoting President Barack Obama's reelection, delivering a monologue to camera, which, according to a right-wing blog, tried "...to get the youth vote by comparing voting for the first time to having sex for the first time," and was simultaneously creepy and infuriating.

Emphasis added..... Now, anybody else noticing that Obummer and this media slut oddly have something in common? The so-called president's commie tramp of a mother was born Stanley Ann Dunham, a girl with a boy's first name. Since Dunham isn't such an unusual moniker the assumption would normally be mere coincidence.

But these are not normal conditions: the relatedness of politicians not only to each other but to other egregious personalities (I'm not egregious, but am W's 19th cousin) has become known even at the gossip-column level. Everybody vaguely knew that the British royals were cousins of the Russian czars, crowned heads of Germany et al, but various trite celebrities are being mentioned as the distant kin of so-called elite here and abroad.

Sure, a certain amount of it is just the way things are. There are a finite number of family lines and an infinite number of people, so things overlap. But I speculate that some such patterns are too strong and too sinister to be thus accounted for. Outside thread on it -- not for the fainthearted:

Just thinking out loud here about two Dunham freaks from hell.

So-called liberals viciously intolerant and lawless

Wrote this Tuesday, thought it had posted successfully. (Reader statistics are good, and I try to keep up the pace for you all -- but please let me hear from more of you!)

Famous leftists (to call them by their proper name) keep coming out with violent statements about public figures they hate. They do this in the name of love for all humanity. Love, love, love, all you need is love, that's what John Lennon said, so it must be true.

My thesis is that many leftists are people who were simply never told no growing up. Thus they arrived the age of consciousness mistaking themselves for the king or queen of the universe, and entitled to boss others endlessly -- at gunpoint if need be.

Stories like the following remind me of the day my car's bumper stickers offended a passerby, who scratched a hate message in the paint. This is leftism in a nutshell -- they want peace and love, but only for the accredited victim groups (in the brilliant phraseology of Wilmot Robertson). It's open season on all others. They've killed many.

Due to editorial pussyfooting by grown-ups who know better, I've adjusted a headline for the real world

Ron Paul + idiot reportress = crash course in dealing with media

Even with everything I know about the "mainstream" press I'm often shocked at its knavery and rot. I was just exposed to t-e-l-e-v-i-s-i-o-n in the dentist's office, and what do you think the first story was on Good Morning America or similar tripe? Pippa Middleton, Princess Kate's sister, has written a book about being a princess's sister. Whoop-de-do, big excitement! How did humanity get along so far without it? The book is priced at thirty-something greenbacks, down from $50. The hygienist and I had a laugh together about that one.

Back home on the computer, I finish watching a video called Ron Paul Stumping In Iowa, Gets Cut Off By CNN As Soon As He Brings Up The NDAA and next try one titled

Uncut Ron Paul Interview - CNN Gloria Borger
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=RLonnC_ZWQ0&feature=endscreen

Please note the anatomy of this discussion. First the fashionable hag tries to corner our hero into commenting on a stupid nanny-goat matter he rightly dismisses as Establishment fun and games. Failing that the little earth mother tries to spank him for being so un-nice as to say things that hurt little Newtie Gingrich exactly what he is -- a "serial hypocrite"! She's being a great new world orderly, you see, and trying to get him to play nice, be a good bland conservative politician, not remind people about the evils of Establishment poodles like Newtie, keep it between the lines that it has established as dialectical borders.

She, a mere news scribbler, is actually attempting a psychological movement called behavior modification on the most distinguished and outstanding politician of our time, a man old enough to be her father and the popular favorite for president at the time! He doesn't fit the mold, she fecklessly and arrogantly tries to shove him into it.

He is one politician who isn't going to bow to the mind games, though. Ron's answers are simple and to the point -- polite yet totally solid and immutable. Poor girl if she's got such a glitzy career behind her in news reading* and is still so totally cut off from reality?

How they do it is a technique so simple the pubic and even many interviewees miss it: ask the same question over and over, rephrase as needed, till you get a usable soundbite. The subject will usually crack just enough to provide one.

I got this treatment at the South Carolina Conservative Action Council's pro-borders demonstration last month. It so happened that participants were only waving Confederate flags, not the Stars and Stripes. Interestingly, one news team didn't mention this fact and gave us an excellent report that was first up on that night's broadcast -- the reportress sent by the other network kept asking me why we would fly a flag that so many people found offensive, and my answers were "It's the universal symbol of resistance to tyranny. Been fighting terrorism since 1861!" or variants thereof,.

You have to decide to keep the discussion on point, and make sure it does.

Ms Borger calls Ron's accusation against Newtie a "personal charge". Isn't that rich? Ron is the only one in the firmament actually calling political developments what they are, and this little imp considers it her job to get him to stop! Don't miss his answer from about 2:40 on -- "I'm doing my job, and if the media won't get people the truth, I will" or words to that effect. Don't miss it, even though the imp rolls her tank treads right over it! He's just quietly reduced her entire industry to ruins, but it doesn't slow her down. Was she trained by Mossad?

Oh oh oh OH -- get the dialogue from 4:00 on -- ("if they attacked is directly")! You who doubt that Israel is the 51st state, doubt no longer.

The pharisee spends more than the last third of the alleged interview needling our hero about the supposedly racist newsletters. Behold the makers of your new world, ameriKa -- Gloria Borger and friends. They have no respect for age, experience or common sense. It's "my ideology right or wrong." "My meal ticket uber alles." "Socialism or bust." Then, in the end she shameless patronizes Ron with the cameras rolling.

Say goodbye to age, experience and common sense, ameriKa -- as long as loony tune baby boomers like Gloria Borger are allowed to freely roam the countryside.

*Note how even Wikipedia, after tracing her rise through Establishment media agencies, wets its bed about those newsletters:

Layers of irony with Romney and religion

Help me out here -- Mormons are angry at Rombamney for understandably attempting to sucker evangelicals...... because the fundies condemn Mormonism......

And they're so mad they're going to back the worst humanoid on the planet against him?

After the past four years of warmongering, Obamanomical hell?

This sounds like the biggest case of misplaced brand loyalty since Dixie supported the Democrat Party far into the 20th century simply because the GOP was the party of Lincoln. It is tangy, though, how this conflict has jarred Salt Lake City's thought processes (paragraph beginning "more troubling"). One could almost call it "values clarification"!

Below are my sender's comment and the story. "Diversity is our greatest strength"...

/\/.

Salt Lake City is the Rome of the Mormon Church.  Mitt Romney is a high-ranking Mormon Bishop.  Word from the Mormon community appears to suggest that Billy Graham's personal endorsement of Romney only a few days ago did not sit well with their community.  For many years, Billy Graham and his son, Franklin Graham, have denigrated the Mormon Church with the epithet:  "cult."  Franklin Graham has stated explicitly on MSNBC that Mormons are not "Christian."  On the Graham website, until only a few days ago there was a longstanding entry about Mormonism under the sobriquet:  "Cults."  The image of Mitt Romney introducing Franklin Graham and Billy Graham to the National Prayer Breakfast was simply too much for the Mormons to take.  The Salt Lake Tribune endorsement of Obama unravels Romney in a lengthy deconstruction of his credibility as a candidate who both courted the radical extremity of the Tea Party and then swiftly shifted his ideological calibrations and navigated a course back to the dead center.  'Chameleonesque' encapsulates the shifting political psyche of Mitt Romney, a devastating label that has now been pronounced at the core of his ideological power base:  Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tribune endorsement: Too Many Mitts, Obama has earned another term

President [sic] Barack Obama speaks about the choice facing women in the upcoming election, Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at a campaign event at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. (
Nowhere has Mitt Romney’s pursuit of the presidency been more warmly welcomed or closely followed than here in Utah. The Republican nominee’s political and religious pedigrees, his adeptly bipartisan governorship of a Democratic state, and his head for business and the bottom line all inspire admiration and hope in our largely Mormon, Republican, business-friendly state.
But it was Romney’s singular role in rescuing Utah’s organization of the 2002 Olympics from a cesspool of scandal, and his oversight of the most successful Winter Games on record, that make him the Beehive State’s favorite adopted son. After all, Romney managed to save the state from ignominy, turning the extravaganza into a showcase for the matchless landscapes, volunteerism and efficiency that told the world what is best and most beautiful about Utah and its people.
In short, this is the Mitt Romney we knew, or thought we knew, as one of us.
Sadly, it is not the only Romney, as his campaign for the White House has made abundantly clear, first in his servile courtship of the tea party in order to win the nomination, and now as the party’s shape-shifting nominee. From his embrace of the party’s radical right wing, to subsequent portrayals of himself as a moderate champion of the middle class, Romney has raised the most frequently asked question of the campaign: “Who is this guy, really, and what in the world does he truly believe?”
The evidence suggests no clear answer, or at least one that would survive Romney’s next speech or sound bite. Politicians routinely tailor their words to suit an audience. Romney, though, is shameless, lavishing vastly diverse audiences with words, any words, they would trade their votes to hear.
More troubling, Romney has repeatedly refused to share specifics of his radical plan to simultaneously reduce the debt, get rid of Obamacare (or, as he now says, only part of it), make a voucher program of Medicare, slash taxes and spending, and thereby create millions of new jobs. To claim, as Romney does, that he would offset his tax and spending cuts (except for billions more for the military) by doing away with tax deductions and exemptions is utterly meaningless without identifying which and how many would get the ax. Absent those specifics, his promise of a balanced budget simply does not pencil out.
If this portrait of a Romney willing to say anything to get elected seems harsh, we need only revisit his branding of 47 percent of Americans as freeloaders who pay no taxes, yet feel victimized and entitled to government assistance. His job, he told a group of wealthy donors, “is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”
Where, we ask, is the pragmatic, inclusive Romney, the Massachusetts governor who left the state with a model health care plan in place, the Romney who led Utah to Olympic glory? That Romney skedaddled and is nowhere to be found.
And what of the president Romney would replace? For four years, President Barack Obama has attempted, with varying degrees of success, to pull the nation out of its worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression, a deepening crisis he inherited the day he took office.
In the first months of his presidency, Obama acted decisively to stimulate the economy. His leadership was essential to passage of the badly needed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Though Republicans criticize the stimulus for failing to create jobs, it clearly helped stop the hemorrhaging of public sector jobs. The Utah Legislature used hundreds of millions in stimulus funds to plug holes in the state’s budget.
The president also acted wisely to bail out the auto industry, which has since come roaring back. Romney, in so many words, said the carmakers should sink if they can’t swim.
Obama’s most noteworthy achievement, passage of his signature Affordable Care Act, also proved, in its timing, his greatest blunder. The set of comprehensive health insurance reforms aimed at extending health care coverage to all Americans was signed 14 months into his term after a ferocious fight in Congress that sapped the new president’s political capital and destroyed any chance for bipartisan cooperation on the shredded economy.
Obama’s foreign policy record is perhaps his strongest suit, especially compared to Romney’s bellicose posture toward Russia and China and his inflammatory rhetoric regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Obama’s measured reliance on tough economic embargoes to bring Iran to heel, and his equally measured disengagement from the war in Afghanistan, are examples of a nuanced approach to international affairs. The glaring exception, still unfolding, was the administration’s failure to protect the lives of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans, and to quickly come clean about it.
In considering which candidate to endorse, The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago. Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb. Through a pair of presidential debates, Romney’s domestic agenda remains bereft of detail and worthy of mistrust.
Therefore, our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.

A crucial subject only the few, the brave want to hear

Criticism of Israel and Zionism isn't always popular -- but you know, this country was founded to ensure safety and dignity for the airing of unpopular ideas.

Israel and Zionism are fine if you're into that kind of thing. But I and lots of people aren't happy seeing our country being cannibalized for the supposed benefit of Israel or anybody else. I say supposed benefit, because socialism never brings any. Socialism is a drug; giveaway "programs" bring only a drug high, not actual progress.

Hey, this is an income tax blog, and below is a prime story about what the fedgov is doing with the money it gouges from people's pay at gunpoint.

Newsweek wafts up to internet Valhalla

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/10/18/a-turn-of-the-page-for-newsweek.html
A Turn of the Page for Newsweek:
After 80 years in print, the newsmagazine adopts an all-digital format

Well, well, well, the other Time magazine is now virtually extinct. Good riddance to bad rubbish.... OH, do I offend anybody with a grump like that? Please remember that just as the illusion of two major political parties was expressly created to fool the people into thinking they actually had a choice on election day, two main national magazines were hatched many years ago after being custom-designed to offer the same type of false dichotomy. / fake conflict / illusory alternative.

We've discussed this matter of the System always assuring itself of a "spare" of everything. Now that Newsweek is gone, the sheeple are only getting half the dose of communist propaganda in that mode, but it's still quite a hit of the stuff. But its main point was to Save the masses for actually reasoning out for themselves whether they were getting "both sides" of the issues. A slick, four-color journalistic "Pepsi" or the equally slick four-color journalistic "Coke" really hit the spot for the social engineers pushing our buttons! .

Elsewhere in national media similar structures are found. Hey, you've got the "mainstream" extreme supreme leftist-fringe media like the 3 main TV networks and entire daily press world, and to valiantly counter them with violently opposing viewpoints and devastating arguments, in this cawnah you've got..... genocidal neocon maniacs like Rush, Sean and Savage. If you'll notice, there's little conservative about them: they don't oppose big government, they love it, they just want their pet party to be in charge of it.

Indeed, such deific motormouths as they live by politics that bear little resemblance to what most Americans want in their heart of hearts (and always have), but hey, these glitzy, glamorous, massively hyped (and slightly pudgy) shills will convince you in nothing flat that if you don't "ditto" them you're a dangerous wacko fit only for a padded cell or firing squad.

It really does concern me if my cynical words offend any readers. I would really rather be making music that raking the muck a lot of the time, but to exercise the First Amendment every day and be reminded that WE ARE STILL FREE in that and other respects.... well, to me it's better than having a front-row seat for the Beethoven Ninth!

Beethoven's music was all about defiance to tyranny and the joy of pure, uncut freedom. In his brasses and basses are declarations of independence from bloated aristocracy; his woodwind tootlings and tinkling triangles always evoke the little man at the dawn of a heady revolutionary era. To me, anyway.

The great Jim Traficant goes down in flames re IRS

There are people who understand tax reality and agree with Ron Paul's mandate to "abolish the income tax and replace it with nothing". Then there's the other 98% of the population.

The latter grouping unfortunately includes some otherwise great minds and individuals who are, tragically, unable to grasp the liberating truth that income taxes are totally unnecessary and are, indeed, fit only for the dustbin of history. A certain kind of tragedy keeps occurring in the dialectics of our time: otherwise notable personages. expressing proper, noble goals and ideals, come out squarely on the wrong side of this issue.

Typically it takes the form of a call to replace the income tax with a consumption tax, i.e. a monstrous increase in sales taxes. Somehow it escapes the attention of otherwise brilliant, dedicated activists that to give up cigarettes and replace them with a heroin habit would accomplish absolutely nothing. They are, in fact, talking tax shift -- not tax relief in any form, to any extent!

This ideological blight is often the province of reputed Libertarians. Neal Boortz is a talk show host who is right about many issues, but he's also a leading proponent of this "national sales tax" madness. I once called in to his show and set him straight, and for once he was left scrambling to save face -- not jeering at his opponents.

It was very good to leaf through the Oct. 8 of American Free Press at PN headquarters and find an article busting Mitt Romney by former Ohio sheriff and congressman Jim Traficant, a top truth hero of our age, titled

GOP's Man Romney Sabotaging His Own Faltering Campaign
Are 47% of the American electorate really useless eaters?

This stuff about 47% is complicated. Romney used the figure recklessly, Obama mendaciously, the whole adding up to mere bipartisan campaign fluff:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57526535/romney-47-percent-remarks-completely-wrong/

A leaked videotape last month revealed Romney telling wealthy donors at a Boca Raton, Fla. fundraiser that 47 percent of the country, President Obama's supporters, don't pay income taxes; consider themselves victims; feel entitled to government handouts, and will never be persuaded to take personal responsibility for their lives.
As Obama and his allies have noted in ads, speeches, and everywhere they can, the 47 percent is for the most part veterans, active military, seniors, and low-income workers, most of whom are paying an array of sales, property, payroll, local and state taxes.

It would be nice if either Rombama or Obomney cared about any sector of the population below the plutocratic one percent noised up earlier in the campaign period

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99_percent

........but they don't, of course. Traficant does, but get his take on Mitt's comment from the AFP article:

"It's as if Romney, or his staff, were reading my columns, where I mentioned the fact that 47 percent of eligible taxpayers actually pay no income tax. This is part of the permanent, dependent underclass that often does not want a job but has learned to work the system. However, amid that 47 percent are millions of Americans who don't want a handout. They want a job."

His intentions are great. But his spin is unbelievably off-base: he knows the income tax is un-Constitutional, yet leaves no room for people who know their rights and exercise the lawful option of keeping their entire paycheck under the present system, paying no tribute to Caesar each April 15. Traficant has just declared that the 47% are conniving parasites but some are merely unemployed working people. Which is it, and where does that well-informed, happily and rightly untaxed American patriots?

Here's the rub: Traficant continues to say that the situation

".....poses a great opportunity for an innovative candidate. Romney could seize the political landscape by supporting the implementation of a national consumption, retail sales tax plan that would eliminate all income taxes, abolish the Internal Revenue Service and put America on the right track.
"All Americans would benefit from a national sales tax. There would be no more withholding. Workers would get their whole pay."

Sure... but who would administer the tax, monitor compliance et al? Can you really see Congress ever voluntarily dumping the IRS overboard? Doesn't experience show that the government giveth, but the government never really taketh away what it really wants us to have?

What good is getting your whole pay if it doesn't buy any more goods and services than before? It reminds me of a conversation I have with people I meet who revere the memory of the Soviet Union. "It achieved full literacy!" They chirp. "Yeah," I reply, "people just weren't allowed to use it."

We don't owe the money. We don't owe the money. WE DON'T OWE THE MONEY. Not only that, but we don't owe the money. What gives when renowned Constitutionalists go looking for alternate ways for us to keep paying it?!?!?

What was AFP thinking?

For all your courage, truthfulness, sacrifices and dedication to the cause of justice, Jim, thanks from the bottom of our hearts. For this crazy stuff, Great Man, thanks but no thanks!

Needed: a "separation of government and entertainment"

I've heard of seeding movies with obvious brand names for products etc, but this is the limit -- in fact, a bridge or three too far! What's next -- ICBM-shaped baby bottles?

We think of ancient empires as over-militarized international beasts and predators. Help me out here: how are we any different?

On the heels of yesterday's.... hard truths for imagined "Republican conservatives"

OK, it's just another summary of how the real rulers of the world run the "two major parties" racket, but this time it's GARY NORTH prophesying. And he makes bad news taste good in the unveiling and exposing:

http://teapartyeconomist.com/2012/09/03/how-the-council-on-foreign-relations-controls-republican-conservatives/
How the Council on Foreign Relations Controls Republican Conservatives

I for one am delighted somebody would make a movie exposing Obama as an evil shyster -- Dinesh D'Souza's 2016: Obama's America. And I'm thrilled to see somebody exposing the fraudulent aspects of the film. But nobody's going to bust Dr. North's article -- it's where the buck stops.

How many years, how many presidencies till the sheeple get hip to the fact that they've been massively played for suckers? Yesterday we read how Evangelicals started with something wonderful, the Gospel of Salvation in Jesus Christ, and turned it into an abomination -- a pietistic mass movement that was too focused on the personal (one's personal salvation/relationship with the Lord) to bother messing much with national or world realities. Today it's an examination of how rank-and-file conservatives get, in effect, all their political information from sources heavily ensconced in enemy hands (the mass media) and find the resulting neat package of notions so convenient and pleasant that they're enraged if somebody tries to point out the colossal fallacy of it!

"In late 1964, Robert Welch of the John Birch Society shifted his entire life’s work from anti-Communism to anti-conspiracy, and forced the restructuring of the Birch Society’s magazine, American Opinion," Dr. North writes. Thus for over fifty years of the most critical American history since 1776, Americans have gone about their business clinging to the "two major parties" construct and desperately avoiding any notion that the whole picture is contrived -- a "matrix".

"The story of the CFR/Federal Reserve alliance," he continues, "has been known to the hard-core Right for a generation. But it is still not known to the standard conservative, who came into the movement in 1980 or later." That is to say, dear friends and readers, that millions of well-meaning, generally rightward-thinking Americans are still light years from the full truth they crucially need to access. With incessant repetition of the buzzphrases "conspiracy theory" and "conspiracy theorists", the System cleverly nips in the bud any recognition of conspiracy reality by these dazed and confused citizens. Nobody's going to tell THEM there's a cabal of evil schemers out there engineering their brainwashing  and dispossession!

Conspiracy reality -- a term whose time has come. Say it every chance you get.

Anonymous and Wikileaks in the news.... sadly

This unexpected headline could signal that Wikileaks has indeed gone off track, or merely that Anonymous wants to show its stuff, free-market wise -- or a number of other things. Wikileaks has been accused of two-timing the truth, of putting forth info that on examination is too basic to matter, of pampering Israel in concert with the "mainstream" media. Wish one could be around in 100 years to hear what history makes of it. So far Anonymous seems true blue -- well, for pitifully deracinated young folks.

They support the "Arab Spring", it says. Pitifully tragicomic, that. How wonderful it would be if anything was what it appeared to be in politics!

Church leaders get serious about the political movement called Zionism

You who are squeamish about anything Israeli or Jewish, it's my unpleasant duty to warn you that today's webpage is rife with uppity irony on those subjects. Y'all who are allergic to irony, just skip down the page to where the letter it's about is found.

Diebold makes voting machines. Is it a "czar"?

America was born to be a model of self-sufficiency and sane politics, but has morphed into a "global cop" which acts by running around bludgeoning other countries with wild abandon.

Congress was designed to keep America free, responsible, and extremely frugal, but its main business today is taking resources from working people at gunpoint and handing them over to the slothful or corrupt.

Does everything morph? According to Wikipedia, Diebold Inc. "is a United States-based financial self-service, security and services corporation that is engaged primarily in the sale, manufacture, installation and service of self-service transaction systems (such as ATMs), electronic and physical security products (including vaults and currency processing systems), and software and integrated systems for global financial and commercial markets." Exactly how did it get tasked with actually running or monitoring elections -- much less rigging them?

Maybe I'm the one that's crazy, but those are the thoughts that come to mind when viewing the latest from Brasscheck.

Subject: The ugly truth about US elections

The US news media has a tough
time telling tough truths.

And nothing is harder to admit
than the fact that the basic mechanics
of government have been highjacked.

The evidence is overwhelming, but
they just don't want to talk about it.

Truly shocking whistleblower

Building another Dubai will benefit the super-rich, but but we can always use another tax- and tyranny-free zone affordable to people like you and me, if by some freakish happenstance that's what's up. Honduras could certainly use a break -- it's a natural paradise and manmade hellhole of crime and corruption.

Government in Action!

-- Cliche Come to Life: In an August report, the inspector general of the Department of Veterans Affairs warned that the regional office building in Winston-Salem, N.C., was in danger of collapsing because there were too many claims files stacked on the sixth floor. "We noticed floors bowing under the excess weight to the extent that the tops of file cabinets were noticeably unlevel throughout the storage area." The report also warned of the potential of files falling on, and injuring, employees. For the short term, the agency relocated all the folders (estimated: 37,000) on the sixth floor to offices on the fifth, seventh and eighth floors. [Winston-Salem Journal, 8-31-2012]

-- For years, U.S. senators Ron Wyden and Mark Udall (of the Select Committee on Intelligence) have been asking the director of National Intelligence to disclose how often the government might be "overcollecting" information on U.S. citizens by too enthusiastically applying the Patriot Act, but the director's office has maintained that such information, whether or not it reveals wrongdoing, is classified. In July, the office finally declassified one fact that it said the senators were free to use: that the government had "on at least one occasion" overcollected information in violation of constitutional protections -- but that's all. The number of times, and all other details, remain classified. [Lowering the Bar blog via Forbes, 7-25-2012]

-- In August, a Michigan government watchdog group learned, in a Freedom of Information Act request, that the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department still to this day retains one job classification for a horseshoer. (The department owns no horses.) Over the years, the position has become a patronage slot paying about $57,000 a year in salary and benefits, sometimes requiring the "horseshoer" to do "blacksmith" work such as metal repair. (Because of severe budget cuts, the city employees' union fights to retain every job, no matter its title.) [Michigan Capitol Confidential, 8-20-2012]

-- Are We Safe? In August, the former director of Homeland Security's office in charge of shoring up the nation's chemical plants against terrorist attacks told CBS News that, five years after Homeland Security started the chemical program, "90 percent" of the 5,000 most vulnerable plants have still not even been inspected. The official, Todd Keil, said that when he left the job in February, $480 million had been spent, but that no plant had a "site security plan" and that management of the program was "a catastrophic failure." (A July Government Accountability Office report confirmed that 4,400 chemical plants had not been properly inspected.) [CBS News, 8-2-2012]

Preachers to defy IRS? Pinch me, please; good PN meeting in Greer today

Is there a scientific term for when a vacuum is instantly filled -- nothing going instantly to something?

Looking at it from a physical, spatial standpoint, would it break the sound barrier -- or maybe beat the speed of light -- as solid matter pushed thin air out of the way with absolute fastness?

http://finance.townhall.com/columnists/ginaloudon/2012/10/05/pastor_to_taunt_irs_over_free_speech
Pastor to Taunt IRS Over Free Speech

Surely such questions apply when preachers go from offering zero resistance to income tax tyranny to flouting it outright, if only for a moment. On this subject they mostly have had zero backbone; now one is to appear in that space instantaneously. (Will they really send the "Service" their sermons?)

Wherever you are in this great country of ours, please enjoin the preachers nearest you to forget IRS strictures. Remind them that there was never supposed to be a "separation of church and state" as we know it -- its purely communistic. Urge them to resume their historic, crucial role as America's conscience -- the pure, uncensored, outspoken kind, warning the people of absolutely any mode of danger that faces them.

Subjects preachers were once outspoken on, but obligingly shut up about as society went for them whole-hog:

gambling / substance abuse / swearing / entertainment filth / slavery (truly more prevalent today than before the War Between the States) / socialism / government hijacking of education...... wait a minute, there's not a single curse or peril on us that preachers are generally willing to address anymore!

Most of them have ceased that prophetic function and are what the Scriptures call "dumb dogs that cannot bark", i.e. incapable of rousing people to healthy concern about any threat or depredation on their well-being. They may be Sunday-morning John Teshes, stand-up comedians, or total pulpit zeroes, but "watchmen on the wall" they ain't!

..............It was another fine session at Greer (north Greenville County, SC) Patriot Network club. Kevin Innes of Liberty Dollar fame and his wife, Libertarian activist Ginny Godfrey, were present for a celebration of monetary freedom and a teach-in on the heroic saga of Liberty Dollar's attempt to get ameriKa back on real money by totally benign, organic, nonviolent, voluntary means. Don't miss any PN meetings, folks -- we're family, and there's nothing like 'em.

Puzzlements and ironies per Sovereign Man

Simon Black is a "permanent traveler" and renowned guru on expat and offshore strategies. As one helping others escape the ameriKan madhouse (and its counterparts in Europe, etc.) he has a good grasp of our national situation and serves as a prophet in warning us of what the politicians are really pulling off on our dime. Here's a message from him that asks pithy questions and makes trenchant points.

For any moles or readers too dull to see it, neither he nor the Patriot Network (nor this blogger) advocate violence. But in the context of human history, one idly wonders out of intellectual curiosity.... how much more devastation are the sheeple going to take before, for instance, passing to demand full legal redress of grievances?

We don't even do that!

Sovereign Man Notes from the Field

Reporting From: London, England

At one point during lunch today at an infamously spicy Sichuan restaurant in London's Soho district, my colleague turned to me and said, "You know, it's shocking to me that there hasn't been a single instance anywhere in the world of a banker getting beaten to death by the mob..."

I stopped for a moment, wondering if it was the cashew prawns talking. It wasn't.

The idea seemed shocking to me as I'm not one to ponder the physical harm of others... but when you think about it, it is quite remarkable. Bankers are almost universally hated right now, and with good reason.

After all, they did play a key role in wrecking the world economy through bad speculations made with customers' money... the very funds they had the most solemn fiduciary responsibility of managing with care.

Then they went on to present people with a cataclysmic scenario in order to strong-arm a taxpayer bailout, after which they stopped lending to just about everything that didn't come with a government repurchase agreement.

Shortly after, Bob Diamond, then-CEO of Barclays, famously quipped that 'the time for banks to apologize is over...'

Of course, then came the LIBOR scandal in which those same banks, including Barclays, were caught outright lying and colluding to screw consumers through interest rate manipulation.

We've also seen banks fail to heed the lessons of 2007, losing billions from derivatives exposure and trading algorithms gone wild.

Everyone takes it on the chin. The customers. The taxpayers. The shareholders. Everyone, of course, except the baking elite.

Throughout it all, despite so many taxpayer bailouts and the damage that their fractional reserve system has caused to the global economy, the banking elite has still managed to maintain its wealth and status.

Sure, the oddball Madoff or Rajaratnam case occasionally surfaces, but for the most part, not a single member of the banking elite has been charged with a crime.

You know who has been charged with a crime, though? Gary Harrington. In case you haven't heard of this criminal mastermind, Mr. Harrington was recently sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $1,500 for a most heinous crime against humanity.

His transgression? NINE misdemeanor convictions of collecting rainwater on his private property. That's right... this vile miscreant had the felonious intent to set up rainwater collection systems on his private property to capture water that falls freely from the sky... an obvious violation of Medford, Oregon's 1925 law which awards ALL water to the government.

So Gary Harrington goes to jail for collecting rainwater. And every single banker who has been complicit in defrauding billions of people around the world walks freely on the streets. Or rather drives freely on the streets in their Maseratis.

There are countless other stories of what I call the 'criminalization of existence'-- people like Gary getting abused by the state for the most innocuous activities. There are so many laws, rules, policies, and regulations on the books, you can hardly breathe without violating one of them.

And yet, despite all of these rules and regulations, there's not a single one that can be brought against those who lie, cheat, steal, and collude to defraud the entire world.

This is the nature of democracy today. It is the criminals who write the rules and the good people who go to jail.

Have you hit your breaking point yet?

Until tomorrow,

Simon Black

Pollmonger admits massive fudging

http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2012/10/a-pollster-under-oath-137100.html

A pollster under oath

Polls are supposedly there to gauge, not influence, public opinion. Supposedly. It might have been during Slick Willy's reign that they became absolutely ubiquitous, even idolatrous in the extent that they were taken, published, and shouted from the housetops.

The more they proliferated, the less meaning and reality they obviously had. Nowadays you can't get away from them. Every slightest twitch of a Pezidential candidate's eyebrow, a poll is taken of public sentiment on it. It's ridiculous -- outrageous! An insult to your intelligence, clearly engineered to reach those that don't have any.

Who cares, really, what people think -- especially when pollsters are in it for the same reason as supposed journalists: to push the world to the left. Sorry, kids, but that goes for lots of RAPupblican operatives as well as DemocRAT ones. We had a great PN meeting in Charlotte tonight and I got rapped for rapping those RAPs, but the truth must be told -- somewhere!

Here's one poll I can easily live with:
