Day's roundup -- pell mell, during multi-computer breakdowns

Praise report: This blogger is blessed with multiple top-notch computer gurus. A month ago my main computer got corrupted -- somehow -- so I've been using a great laptop I'd bought some years back but left on the shelf. In the midst of a not-too-bad little storm tonight it suddenly failed with a loud pop and doesn't respond to anything now. But my new local Anderson area computer man was just here yesterday, Friday, and while he couldn't get the main eMachine working, he managed to speed up a Dell computer I'd bought for our Greenville underground railroad station a few years back, which had for some reason gotten slow as molasses since I'd taken it out of mothballs. Another computer tower I'd planned to donate to some worthy party malfunctioned yesterday for the first time, and we simply didn't have time to attend to it... partly because every attempt to revive the eMachine had failed with what limited resources "the doctor" had on him this trip.
The bottom line is that I'm still computing (on the Dell, of course) -- even a lightning bolt aimed straight at my computer life can't stop me from logging each day's most politically incorrect news here. (it was a very selective bolt -- possibly via the internet cable, since everything's powered via a relay of two surge protectors.)
Speaking of computers..... The PN staff had a delightful staff dinner party and teach-in at headquarters today. Present were PN leaders and our computer doctor, who turned out to be a former seminary student and my fellow Bob Jones grad. Food and drink were courtesy of the executive director -- as you know, we do things a little differently than your average mega-corporation, and more power to us!
A Staff Member Of The Year certificate was issued to one of our key players. The gathering left this blogger thinking that "inner circle" patriot brains should -- yes, on top of their already busy schedules -- be regularly meeting to confer on strategies for legal self-preservation.
..........The day's gleanings, in no particular order:
I got an email linking to this new indie movie trailer.

Unbridled Justice: The Legend of Manse Jolly PROMO

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnEcMHrUzG8&feature=autofb

"His vow to avenge his brother's death cost the lives of many Union soldiers".....

This is great news! Manse Jolly was one of the most daring, dashing heroes of the un-Civil War -- as the clip implies, a great crusader against the vile and violent oppression of his people by the amoral yankee invaders. I believe he kept fighting -- as needed -- after the War. The main point about him is that he was passionate enough about justice and loyalty that he kept "the skeer" on the enemy as few other individuals did!
He's also one of the most notable figures ever born in the PN's home city of Anderson, S.C. He's known of locally even as everything that really matters gets steamrolled by decadent mass anti-culture today. If you were to take I-85 Exit 21 into Anderson, you'd first come to Justice Lane on the left and then Manse Jolly Road off which I go swimming all summer.
Perhaps some of you noticed a large, definitive, hardcover biography of this hero around Dr. Clarkson's house through the years? I seem to recall it lurking just inside the basement entrance. This is because RBC, too, cared for justice, family and tribe, and know quality when he saw it in history.
..........How about this mordant quote from the ever-verdant LewRockwell.com:

Would Sarkozy Have Supported the Confederacy?

“Peaceful Southern citizens who are only asking to choose their own destiny are in danger of dying,” French president Sarkozy said. Oh, sorry, he actually said “Libyan citizens.”

The sad news of the day is that one of our favorite modern Confederate soldiers, R.W. Moore of Toccoa, Georgia, died Saturday. RW was the founder and publisher of the Truth Newspaper and a passionate activist, publicist, and entrepreneur -- not to mention the host of our Toccoa Patriot Network Club at his headquarters in rural Stephens County. We fought the Georgia Confederate Flag fight with him when many other Georgians tried to shoo us away, saying "we have it in the bag!" I'll write a fuller obituary in the Nationalist Times newspaper's discussion forum soon.

............Now some juicy headlines from www.panamalaw.org. One should prompt many to really, seriously ask if the government needs the tax revenues it extracts with such blood and guts from working people; others should give folk pause to contemplate whether any "public servant" actually deserves even the time of day from the citizenry!

General Electric Profits of $14.2 Billion and No Taxes - $5.1 billion of this came from USA operations as well. GE is expert at lobbying for tax breaks. Over the last decade, G.E. has spent tens of millions of dollars to push for changes in tax law, from more generous depreciation schedules on jet engines to “green energy” credits for its wind turbines. But the most lucrative of these measures allows G.E. to operate a vast leasing and lending business abroad with profits that face little foreign taxes and no American taxes as long as the money remains overseas. While the financial crisis led G.E. to post a loss in the United States in 2009, regulatory filings show that in the last five years, G.E. has accumulated $26 billion in American profits, and received a net tax benefit from the I.R.S. of $4.1 billion. No taxes.

Former Dallas FBI Veteran Get Two Years – He tried to acquire weapons to kill his former boss. He was making $140,000 a year an an FBI agent about one year ago.

Connecticut State Trooper Threatens To Arrest a Judge – The beef was over the judge failing to sign an arrest warrant.

Pennsylvania State Trooper Arrested for Drugs and Stealing Money – The guy stole money from traffic stop victims and had drug paraphernalia on him. I guess the USA has already become a third world country must just have not realized it.

.........While people are rightly concerned as to how we're going to keep powering this bodaciously "advanced" society, here are a few really good musings on how things used to be -- perhaps you received them too, titled "This is an interesting perspective on today’s “New” concern for the environment...."
