Congressman's IRS idea so close, yet so far

Gee whillikers, a CongressCritter has introduced a bill for a fresh new variation on the tired old theme of “how can we rearrange the present suicidal tax system rather than abolishing it”. No doubt his motives are excellent, and his idea would be an improvement of sorts by putting a lot of income tax camp followers – er, tax preparers – out of work. We don't wish the good people at (for instance) H&R Block ill we'd just love to see them working in some honorable profession that actually produces something useful – same for IRS agents.

Have the IRS prepare returns. FairTax. Flat Tax. How many tax shifts, shafts, shoves and shunts can our would-be saviors come up with rather than take Ron Paul's advice of “Abolish the income tax and replace it with nothing?” Yes, that is the Constitutional position, the moral and lawful answer, and by the way the only thing that works.

Income taxes are simply a form of cannibalism. Cannibalism is crime committed only by the the most demented sickos out there. We in the Patriot Network want what works. Accept no substitutes!

Speaking of Ron Paul, here he is again in one of his absolutely most outspoken, jam-packed speeches before Congress. Oh, there's nothing here again but Constitutional common sense, but that becomes an amazing thig in a latter-day Untied States that absolutely despises common sense, logic, reason, caution and moderation in foreign policy.

I confess I hesitate whenever feeling tempted to post an item that challenges the perpetual war fever that prevails since Bush called for a "new" world order and started smashing our former ally Iraq to pieces. I really don't want to offend anybody, and whereas peace was originally a conservative value, a great many of today's Americans have little use for it.

Many Americans have relatives in the armed forces, and this unfortunately robs a great many of them of any interest in the right and wrong of a particular war or aggressive action. We're expected to "support the troops" which is clearly right, but it somehow instantly turns people into war supporters as well. This is akin to the way so many people become big-government socialists the instant they receive their first Social Security check. Oh, forgive me -- I can't seem to stop morphing from concern to irony to sarcasm. I'm just a baby boomer who will never see a cent of SS money and notices that every time there's an action to "defend our freedoms" by killing hordes of distant strangers, freedom is what dies fastest right here. "Truth is the first casualty of war" -- old saying.

Whether you support the wars or side with the Founding Fathers in opposing constantly running off "in search of monsters to destroy" (John Quincy Adams) I beg you not to miss a second of the above video. It reminds us peaceniks how sane we really are, and can point more hawkish viewers to how very far we've strayed from every Constitutional principle today. Nothing Doctor Paul says has anything in common with the bilge spewing forth from other politicians, educators, media talking heads and the like. Nothing!

By an powerful coincidence, this page also came in today.

Fall of the American Empire – Mar. 20, 2011

It includes some exciting news (Tennessee Governor Gets Constitutional and Rejects Obama Care, Utah First State to Have an Official Gun) but also another remarkable video.

Warning to all who have jumped on the anti-Arab bandwagon or fallen prey to anti-Mideastern hysteria: it's a speech by the Nation of Islam's head honcho. I include it because it just happens to with everything the great Dr. Paul says above, albeit from a Muslim point of view. Our policy, you see, is to grab the truth wherever we find it, even if in the mouth of a real or imagined enemy. (Have you by chance read how Bush Sr. admonished Boy George Bush that it his plans for Iraq would be catastrophic for the USA? It's out there.)

We are no fans of Louis Farrakhan, a genuine racist and black supremacist, but note that he (being 78 years old) expresses himself in an old-fashioned way that is, most regrettably, giving way to totally graceless eructations. It's worth noting that PanamaLaw.org takes a pro-Israel and virtually anti-Arab/Muslim political stance!

.............Speaking of diversity and the amazing things it brings about, we are pleased as punch to let you know we've made the SPLC honor roll for what is probably the first time. This is in the category of "coming from you, that's a compliment!"

Let me explain. Ah, where to begin? It's sort of like a doctor attempting to explain the chemistry of cancer to a medical layman. The laughably-misnamed Southern Poverty Law Center is an extremely powerful, concentratedly liberal organization in Alabama that has got most government bodies convinced that it's an authority on bigotry, racism, and terrorists waiting to happen. If you'll notice, in every news report your hear about some supposed hate crime or "anti-semitic" act, the above entity is quoted as an "authority on terrorism", "recognized expert on hate," etc.

But it's all a colossal fraud. The SPLC isn't in the business of identifying threats to the public weal as they claim -- on the contrary it spends every woking day grossly enriching tself by scaring the wealthy into thinking the KKK or neo-Nazis are coming to get them. This the SPLC clowns do by compiling report after fraudulent report falsely tying in genuine conservative activism with any loony/wacko group or individual that makes any headlines -- you know, the way the liberal media instantly jump to equate a Ted McVeigh or Jared Lee Loughner with gun rights and tax freedom advocates, etc. Indeed, the SPLC has been the fuel for such flames of slander and defamation for over 20 years!

The SPLC is in fact the most spectacular hate group in the world. Hate is in fact its business -- and business is booming. Some years ago it bragged on having amassed a war chest of over $110 million via its junk-mail campaigns and mass hypnosis of the military, schools, and even local police departments. Part of its shtick is publishing lists of patriotic groups and leaders that the self-appointed SPLC thought police want the public to regard as the most menacing. But contrary to this twisted, malevolent intent, we the intended victims exult in being called evil by evil, e.g.:

Indeed, Dr. Clarkson and this blogger were honored to be the main focus when the SPLC chose to do a feature story on Anderson-area patriotic workers.

Don't be alarmed -- it's a smear of mammoth proportions. I wrote an eight-part series of articles for the Nationalist Times newspaper debunking the above story's inaccuracies! "Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets" -- Luke 6:22-23. Wow, that passage just brought in a great-looking Bible site:
