A major learning opportunity? TUESDAY, FEB. 3

The following message just in. Everyone who is not coming with us to the Charlotte PN meeting, why not consider going to the Tea Party dinner/lecture session in Greenville? We don't know Calvin Cowen and make no guarantees, but it could be good.

Subject: Learn about Precinct Reorganization
Precinct Reorganization is happening soon. If we miss this opportunity we will
have to wait two more years. For this reason Tony Dale has been rescheduled for the March meeting of the
Greenville Tea Party. Please do not miss Tony Dale. He is a very entertaining speaker with good information.

I will be explaining many of the ins and outs of the upcoming Republican Party
Precinct Reorganization. I went through this two years ago and have been Chairman of my precinct ever since.
This only happens once every two years and, as I will explain to you, is something we NEED to be involved in. The
nice thing about it is that it takes so little effort to make a difference.

Next Meeting will be on Tuesday February 3rd, 2011, at 6:30 PM

Location:
Denny's Restaurant
2521 Wade Hampton Boulevard
Greenville, SC 29615

Thanks.
Calvin Cowen

This is admittedly a shot in the dark. The Tea Party is, like most other organizations, a mixture of brilliance and folly, energy and inertia. We certainly support their drive to shake up the political establishment and demand answers and action on the things that really matter -- most notable 18 to 24 months ago. (Yes, it's exactly two years since the movement's birth!) We are of course quite busy with our own organizational responsibilities but would love to know what's new with the Party, whether it be good or ill. If you attend, please report to blog editor Nelson Waller at torpenhow@charter.net.
Precinct reorganization is a crucial, very local, often simple and enjoyable process that imports real power to citizens -- any registered to vote! In some recent cases, precinct meetings have had no attendees besides the intrepid politically-incorrect Constitutional patriot, who then simply elects himself candidate for whatever public political office is up for grabs. A nascent related discussion forum just arrived:
