Newsmax poll highlights neocon curse on ameriKa

BrasscheckTV.com is one of the brilliant and visionary websites offering free daily subscriptions. The free part means there's advertising. One promo in today's mailer ("What happened to Iraq's missing billions?") is an invitation to take part in a quick poll on 2016 presidential candidates. The tiny "newsmax.com" tag in one corner gave a clue it wasn't going to be entirely real-world.

Newsmax, you see, is one of those vaguely right-leaning sites (also or formerly a magazine) that we've all been aware of and moved on from as it is clearly there to keep conservatives weak and stupid. Could this poll be a tiny bit real, I asked myself. I'd love to vote against  Mitt Wrongney in it, but was there any chance it could have an actual human being in the roster to click for instead?

No:

Living in a country dominated by this kind of thinklessness is hard. What's easy is looking down this roster of Repubs and knowing you don't have to research any to see whether they are, in fact, human. Our governor in SC is no beauty prize even though (or partly because) the liberal media almost expired for pure joy that SOUTH CAROLINA was now going to have a nonwhite chieftain. The others are either positively or virtually assured poison. Christie, Rubio, Bush, Huckabee and other "household names" on the list -- demons from hell who, like Mitthead, will only continue the communist Clinton-Bush-Obama legacy with half the population thinking he or she is hard-right.

Bobby Jindal is another Nikki Haley -- famous for being nonwhite, er, I mean famous. Has no political shadow, like a vampire. Jan Brewer is fool's gold. Yes, she signed one bill cracking down on illegals, but has it been carried out at all? OK, biting the bait and checking her in Wikipedia, what do you know -- she loves tax hikes and actually believes in them for curing deficits! Well, she acts as if she does -- since getting elected AZ secretary of state, which led directly to her making gov.

Who's this John Kasich? Never heard of him. That is normally (or should one say UNFAILINGLY) an indication that he's a zero or worse. Wikipedia: "In 1994, Kasich was one of the Republican leaders to support a last-minute deal with President Bill Clinton to pass the Federal Assault Weapons Ban. After a series of meetings with Clinton's Chief of Staff, Leon Panetta, who was also a long-time friend of Kasich, the assault weapons ban was passed when 42 Republicans crossed party lines and voted with the Democrats to ban assault weapons.[28] Kasich's support of the assault-weapons ban angered the National Rifle Association, which gave Kasich an "F" rating during the 1990s as a result."

Please tell me none of you are falling for this Republican brand. It's a fraud. Who to vote for then, you say? Nobody. Start raising hell at these people for being such criminals, that would be a better investment of your time, even though it actually mean people DOING something and not just flicking levers in a voting booth (the way it's done in yankee land where I grew up).

Voting, you see, is as subverted as the GOP anyway. Yep, things are that bad.

The poll doesn't.... SURPRISE.... have a "none of the above" choice, so to HELL with Newsmax.
