Why are we still using Social Security numbers to identify ourselves?

Answer: because the Powers That Be place an extremely high priority on keeping the populace on the government plantation. No tags on the livestock makes 10 times the work!

And to drop this quaint practice would give the sheeple the idea that they're entitled to a measure of privacy and independence. That, to the powercrats, is the real unforgivable sin!
