Hey, we had a terrific PN meeting in Greenville tonight, despite being bumped to the open area of the restaurant by another group's reservation. The great Kevin Innes traveled all the way down from Asheville, NC to invite us to the NC Libertarian Party convention he's chairing in the forst complete weekend of June. Suddenly is the word. The IRS has been vampirizing ameriKa in this exact fashion for at least 60 years; the fedgov has repeatedly been caught with its pants down shooting down its supposed enemies with its handy IRS gun; no politician or bureaucrat has ever felt the slightest shame about it, precious few (like Ron Paul) have ever uttered a peep of criticism. What's changed? Obummer is being Obummer, exactly in the Clintonista-Bushovik manner he was hired to do it. What gives?

Meeting attendees suggested that the "mainstream" media are rightly feeling so obsolete that they've decided to start doing some real reporting for a change.

Desperate people do strange things -- let's hope that it's not -- as I feel deep down -- merely another change in the wind.
