The media are the problem -- "a proxy"

Here's a short but devastating video for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Media fuels conflict and pushes for intervention

Despite the perhaps arcane subject matter, the true origin of the "Arab spring" revolutions, it should be obvious what's really going on: the media are staging, faking, provoking much of the trouble in the world that they merely appear to be reporting. Much of the footage is from grainy Mideastern media broadcasts, but it is very clear that some (!) of those news outlets are in collusion with those in the Western world who are clearly, indisputably, maddeningly using their vast power over the public consciousness to MANUFACTURE headlines that are in fact self-pre-fulfilling prophecies.

The media are the people's matrix, but this real-world Alice-in-Wonderland matrix is far more devastating than the type depicted in the wildly successful movie of that name. Does it ever occur to you that it would be great to be able to point skeptics to some kind of absolute proof of this in living color? Well, there is!

SPIN: Democracy at work - a documentary by Brian Springer (1995)

Please make a permanent note of it somewhere major. Keep it handy. Send it to everybody you know. Our overlords admit everything when they think we're not listening -- everything. The topmost public figures in the country, that is -- Bushes, Clinton, Pat Robertson, you've got to see it to believe it.

Yes, it's 17 years old but gets more current every day! Please note one odd thing about some of these two-legged gods -- their gravity. While just sitting alone and waiting for the camera light to go on and make their day they look exactly like somebody just told them they have terminal cancer. What, they reach the absolute zenith of riches, power and fame, and the well-being and confidence they emit publicly is a mere facade?

Maybe their problem is that they don't know diddly about actually doing any living. Their private lives are often degenerate -- isn't all that excess supposed to bring them nirvana? Maybe a country led by people who look fateful in unguarded moments is in fact fated.

Of course, it's understandable with Slick Willy -- look who he's married to..... Wow, I'm watching the whole thing again, and there's another big clue right around minutes 21 to 23 or so: politicians and news stars, the blessed royalty of the glamorous media-government complex, ultimately have to acknowledge that the cities are turning into fourth-world hellholes under their loving care. In Los Angeles, of them a Martin Luther King hospital is so busy with trauma that "our" military troops actually train there for dire combat in the inferno of ground warfare. There's more of it in that one hospital that in all of Western Europe each year!

I'd feel pretty bummed out, too, if I were the vaunted Leader Of The Free World (or vying for that job) and part of the system that oversees rather than offers real solution for ameriKa's urban wreckage.
