"State's Child Custody Laws Could Be Overhauled Soon"

......" under a bill that has sailed through the S.C. House."

http://scthenerve.wordpress.com/2012/02/06/s-c-house-bill-proposes-major-child-custody-law-changes/?utm_source=The+Nerve&utm_campaign=afdc7fb364-Today_on_The_Nerve02_06_2012&utm_medium=email

This could be wonderful, in view of the many custody cases one hears about in which hapless citizens and youth are at the mercy and caprice of heartless bureaucrats.

In other legislative news, this from Talbert Black in Columbia, who adds "Call the committee members to express your support!":

I JUST GOT WORD FROM STEVE ISOM THAT THE MEETING DESCRIBED BELOW HAS BEEN POSTPONED by the SC House of Representatives until February 23rd at 9AM in room 516 of the Blatt Building. Please help spread the word!!!

MEETING POSTPONED!

Are you tired of your take home pay buying less and less?

Every year, your dollar is worth less. Why?

The inflationary policy of the Federal Reserve System has made today’s dollar worth less than a $0.05 of the dollar 100 years ago.

Just over the last 25 years, the buying power of your dollar has dropped by half!

But you have no alternative. It is the only system in the state.

Now, you have the opportunity for a legal constitutional alternative... money as our founders intended will hold its value over time.

They knew that only a monetary system based on gold and silver is sound!

That’s why today it is called “Sound Money”

Utah led the way last year passing a Sound Money bill. They have provided an alternative monetary system to their people.

Other states are following!

Now, its South Carolina’s turn!

A bill to provide South Carolina with a Sound Money alternative to the Federal Reserve dollar is coming up for a hearing in the South Carolina House Constitutional Laws Sub-committee.

Please contact the subcommittee members and express your support for Sound Money in South Carolina.

They are:

Greg Delleney: (803) 734-3074; GregDelleney@schouse.gov send a message
Jim Harrison: (803) 734-3120; JimHarrison@schouse.gov; send a message
Tom Young: (803) 212-6884; TomYoung@schouse.gov; send a message
James Smith: (803) 734-2997; JamesSmith@schouse.gov; send a message
Walt McLeod: (803) 734-3276; WaltMcLeod@schouse.gov; send a message

These legislators sometime play games with their e-mail addresses, so if the e-mail address doesn’t work, you can use the “send a message” link to use the state house messaging system.

A very simple message is all that is needed. You can say something like:

“South Carolina needs a sound alternative to the failing Federal Reserve dollar. Please support H4128, and give us a chance to use Sound Money in South Carolina.”

It’s that simple!

Thanks for all you do!

P.S. If you want to protect the value of your money against the inflationary policy of the Federal Reserve System, then contact the members of the House Constitutional Law Subcommittee and tell them to support H4128, the Sound Money bill.

This next bit is highly relevant and the answer to the question should be painfully obvious:

Is the Republican Party Committing Political Suicide?

YES, the GOP is doing itself in, and taking civilization down with it. The problem of brazen promotion of candidates (usually over Ron Paul) in places where objectivity should prevail is pandemic. Charter.net is my internet service; their homepage has a parade of mostly cheesy news items every day; and I've lost track of the times they've made it look like the Rommunist was the only Republican presidential candidate worth mentioning!
