Surely you didn't really say “Presidential electors and Congress, not the state of Georgia, hold the constitutional responsibility for determining the qualifications of presidential candidates.” Didn't they ever tell you? The fedgov is the creation of the states, ergo they own and control it. But what really concerns me is your contempt for the citizens and their concerns.

Notice how the White House shill dances all around this major issue and then -- talk about Freudian slips! -- says “I can’t tell you why somebody believes, despite all preponderance of the evidence, that the president was born … uhm … in … uhh, uhh … was born here and not somewhere else" (emphasis added).

Wouldn't you say that so much anxiety in being confronted with a subject is quite an answer itself? "Certification of live birth," my eye.

That reminds me of something.... a friend boasted having a bottle of the extremely rare (and even controversial) variety of booze known as absinthe. I asked to see it, and the label did a diabolically clever job of hinting that the green stuff inside was genuine. It boasted of the product having "flavor to rival the best absinthe brewing traditions" etc. yet managed never to either confirm or deny that that's what the product actually was. It was my unhappy duty to point out to him that the bottle was prominently labeled ABSENTE, which actually means "absent" in the drink's native French tongue.

Sunday's Greenville News-Snooze headline was simply IT'S NEWT, in a huge font size normally reserved for massive, world-changing developments. Apparently they're on a first-name basis, Newt and that dirty rag. They belong together considering that beneath his blustery, innately meaningless and empty exterior, he is as communist/loony-left as they come.

Remember, now -- skill in debating is all that matters. Issues don't; your track record in Congress is now less than meaningless; your real agenda can cower in the shadows till you get elected. And as recent decades show, you can commit absolutely any crime you want once you're Pezident, and Republicans will still stand up for you, the commie media will still more than tolerate you, and even Democrats will have the consideration to speak only of lesser matters.
