TG1 was right

ePC editor comments: First thing every morning I check an email from www.freedomsphoenix.com. A libertarian group based in Arizona, I recommend it with the warning that it seems to have a confused viewpoint on two of the biggest issues, immigration and war. Its grab bag of news links today includes the following -- nothing major, no great surprise, but it happens to echo one of the main assertions RBC was making when first I met him 20 years ago. Sure, other people were too, but they didn't have organizations passionately dedicated to solving the problem!
Around 1990 RBC predicted this moment for "before 2000", partly because the Permanent Regime in DC is committed to trillions in military and other federal pensions, not to mention other handouts in this age where a majority of citizens are on the dole in one form or another. Looks like it's coming in 2010, but being 10-15 years off in such predictions is not a bad rate at all as these things go.
