The Canadians' war for travel rights, cont.

We reported once on the thriving movement in Canada of people fighting for their right to drive and park normally without harassment by police or courts. Yes, in addition to legitimate application of traffic laws, there is galloping, mushrooming police tyranny theses days over drivers and their vehicles, and not only in ameriKa. The "law enforcement" is such a natural magnet for little Hitler types, it's a wonder the good officers aren't entirely squeezed out by them. And it is so very easy for governments to militarize and weaponize police departments, it's scary.

The truth is we've got to fight for everything we've got, or everything we've got will be taken away -- without exception. Here's a saga in which a Canadian decided he didn't like his son being turned into an ATM by police on a nothing charge, and went the distance. A small case, a small issue, but a big beautiful surprise since Canada is so left-wing it's almost a different planet from here.

Could you imagine if every father were so concerned about basic principles as this Mr. Bryant? Life woul be radically better.
