The GOP nomination is NOT a done deal
The leftwing media are thrilled to gloat that Romney's got it after yesterday's poll in Texas. They're thrilled by his very existence -- that is, until he gets elected, if that should be the case. But neither he nor they are living in the real world, because (1) Romney is a monster of conservatiberal duplicity, (2) the media push an agenda that's a clear mortal danger to everything, and (3) Ron Paul is the only true presidential hope SINCE SENATOR ROBERT TAFT exactly 60 years ago, or maybe PRESIDENT CALVIN COOLIDGE. Just in this morning thanks to Truskeyfarm, a great participant in the PN-Friends Patriot Network egroup, is an apparently "mainstream" TV news report hollowing out the latest Romney "victory":

Now this from Columbia, SC. Please act -- I just did! /\/.\/\/.
The Freedom of Information Act Sunshine bill, H3235, passed out of committee Tuesday!
Thanks for all your phone calls and e-mails.
However, it is not time to relax yet!
In order to get this bill passed this year, it MUST be put on SPECIAL ORDER.
Special order is the term used for the list of bills that get first priority for consideration in the Senate.
With only a week in session to go, if this bill doesn’t make it on special order, it will never get passed!
So, this is what I need you to do:
Call AND e-mail your Senator RIGHT NOW and tell them to support putting H3235 on special order. You can find out who your Senator is and his contact information at this link.
The entire Senate votes on the motion to put a bill on special order. So contacting your senator is CRITICAL to getting this bill on special order.
The decision on whether or not to even make the motion to put the bill on special order will happen in the caucus meetings that are held Wednesday at 12:00.
These caucus meetings are closed door meetings where each party meets privately to discuss what they want to do. So, your Senator MUST hear from you before noon Wednesday.
Contact your State Senator RIGHT NOW. You can find out who your Senator is and his contact information at this link.
The Legislature adjourns for the year on June 7th. Time is short and we must act now!!
This is our last chance to pass this bill!
If we don’t act now South Carolina lawmakers will continue to hide behind their exemption to the Freedom of Information Act.
You’ll remember when they ignored the voters and passed a Department of Administration bill that did not make the reforms that the voters asked for.
Right afterwards, using the Freedom of Information Act, many of you helped us ask for copies of their e-mails, memo’s, and notes that had any communication about the DoA bill. We wanted these documents so we could find out who was influencing their decision to ignore the voters.
Most lawmakers responded that they would not give us the information because they are exempt from the Freedom of Information Act!
Stunning!
They work for us!
H3235 will fix three problems:
It will remove the legislature’s exemption from the Freedom of Information Act.
It will limit the fees that they can charge for copies of documents to the market rate for copies. There was testimony in the House committee hearings on this bill about people who were charged exorbitant copy fees by local governments.
It will limit the delay before the information is made available. There was additional testimony from those who were simply stonewalled and delayed so long that by the time they got the requested information, it was no longer useful.
These changes to the Freedom of Information Act are critical to our ability to hold government accountable to the people.
Without it, you and I are blind!
In short, this bill dies if it is not put on SPECIAL ORDER immediately.
We’ve made it this far, let’s not drop the ball now!
Follow this link to find your Senator and his contact information.
Simply tell him to support putting H3235, the Freedom of Information Act Sunshine bill, on special order immediately!
Remember, without H3235 there is no real accountability and transparency in the South Carolina legislature!
Best regards,
Talbert Black Jr.
Palmetto Liberty PAC
P.S. There is only one week left to pass the FOIA Sunshine bill, H3235. It will eliminate the ridiculous legislative exemption from the SC FOIA law. If it doesn’t pass, the legislature will be able to continue to ignore all requests for information that falls under their special exemption. We can’t allow that to happen! Contact your Senator RIGHT NOW and tell him to put H3235 on special order IMMEDIATELY.

Two latest Ron Paul bulletins including "Jews for Ron Paul"!
Firstly, one of our hero's main assets -- his RECORD. Hack politicians get by each election cycle by promising the masses the moon; the masses know it's all a lie but, like Charlie Brown kicking that football over and over, are always willing to give the phonies another chance. RON PAUL IS ONE OF THE FEW CONGRESSMEN who don't have to lie -- facts are facts, and a record like his trumps all the BS artists. via email:

Ron Paul 2012
Ron Paul's understanding of the economy is a matter of public record.
In 1983 he predicted the 1987 recession.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FmlsK_nJKU&feature=related
In 1998 he predicted the 2000 dot com crash.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4837NXWxpMA
In 2001 he predicted the housing bubble crash and what the Fed would do in response.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KONpt9a6HrI&feature=relmfu
And of course he has told us this year Mar. 2012 about the Bond Bubble currently forming.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0c4QgpEpGM
In fact he has accurately predicted very single economic down turn in the last 3 decades, with an explanation of why he believes they will happen.
No other politician that I know of has this track record. In fact no member of the Federal Reserve has this track record. And most noteworthy there are very few people in the financial sector with this impressive record of accuracy.
To put our trust in the people that never saw these coming to fix the problems makes no sense, especially since their fix is doing more of what Dr. Paul has identified as the cause.
Second, something strangely wonderful: this video dizzily walks the line between Zionist delusions and Zionist reality, with reality tipping the balance against all odds:
Founder of Jews for Ron Paul Walter Block, PhD - Why Obama/Romney is a Curse to America and Israel
Economics professor Walter Block talks with Josh Tolley about why Ron Paul's policies out weigh those of President Obama and Mitt Romney.

Take it as another sign of real change, and I don't of course mean the Obummer kind. Let me know what you think!

Summary of The Problem is like a smash in the ribs
In a discussion forum unrelated to this blog we have a thread called something like "Great summaries of the Problem." The Problem with a capital P is of course the great conspiracy against us by the people the masses place the must trust in. Lots of people believe things are fine and people like me are crazy for believing otherwise, but there are many intelligent and well-informed people believing otherwise along with me. Surely any intelligent person will have to admit things are not always what they seem? It's especially noteworthy that the writer takes the name of Israel in vain considering this is an Alex Jones website, and Alex shuns all mention of THAT "elephant in the china shop". /\/.\/\/.

"George Soros" is one of the worst humanoids in the world
And a sponsor of genuine terr'ism -- and at least of one specific terr'ist. Glenn Beck shines again in this exposé. I can't tell you what my sender added to it, but it was the straight dope on the situation you'll only ever get from me, him and a hardy remnant of ultra-truthniks.
We hear much about terr'ism that turns out to be 100% fake, 100% provoked, or 100% manufactured. The system needs to keep the skeer on its own citizens, so it screeches at them for years at a time that there's TERR'STS in them that hills! Never mind the hard fact that the System itself makes up terror tales from scratch, it frames innocent people as terr'ists, and above all, it accuses foreign ethnicities of the worst crimes in the world and crushes them with bombs and tanks until they have no choice but to seek to teach us a lesson. Their defense operations are smeared as aggressions on us and our illustrious troops -- a self-fulfilling prophecy from hell. AND "GEORGE SOROS" IS IN THE THICK OF IT. /\/.\/\/.

Remarkable NC legislator unearthed
It's so good to see a sitting politician emerge to challenge NDAA in -- of all places -- North Carolina. I truly hate to say it, but the state's politics strike me as lamentable. Believe NC went whole hog for Real ID, the federal plot for a national identity card. Not that I defend my state's politics -- far from it. VERY FAR from it.

Priceless Dilbert comic; big new tax farce unearthed
Comic strips say so much that doesn't get said quite the same way elsewhere. In recent eras the Permanent Regime in Washington has struggled to shut the public up, in particular where we the people want to demonstrate our dissatisfaction in the streets. The fedgov (like its many imitators lower down) is devilishly clever at playing dialectic games in this area. They play the terror card and have got half the public thinking it's a great excuse to slash the First Amendment and turn the public into good, quiet little serfs. Here's that mess in three terse yet power-packed satirical little comic frames:

Huge tax returns for undocumented workers
The gist is that wetbacks are soaking working ameriKans for FOUR BILLION BUCKS a year by declaring their kids back in Mexico as dependents. Experts say it's legal, so it will be hard to put a stop to it, tra-la! If you think Waller is a crazy, heartless un-compassionate conservative" for wanting to cancel socialism everywhere, I know you'll enjoy the part where "Democratic Congressman Ruben Hinojosa" protests that outlawing this crime will leave thousands of C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N out in the cold, boo-hoo! That's right, ameriKa -- one of your own Congresscritters wants your hard-earned pay to go to support the kids of illegals back in the countries they came from.
Are you "PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN, WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE" -- and that you country loves all the children of the world and wants to pay for their diapers, doctors and lunch? Do you feel COMPASSIONATE yet?

Blah blah blah, war is over, blah blah blah
Today was peace day, it appears. Peace has broken out, or has started to think about it -- that was the so-called president's message to the sheeple today, and the media dutifully blanketed the nation with it.
Oh, how slick they are -- the media and the politicians! Their warmongering goes on and on, its geography spreads and spreads, the societies that permanently hate us proliferate, but in the Matrix, millions of sheeple can be pacified by soothing (if rather proudful) assurances that things are returning to normal after 10 or more further years of geopolitical rape-murder, ameriKan style.
They are so slick, they can play the peace card just as easily as the war card. I heard that little speechlet by the so-called president this afternoon while driving down 85, and almost twelve hours later, heard the exact same stuff again driving back up in the wee hours of the morning. It hadn't gained anything in either humanity or credibility -- in fact it reeks of satanism and mendacity. And the War goes on......
Riches in today's mail haul included this fine video on the war/fear/terror curse:

Mechanics of the Tea Party sellout; local govts can nix drones! Plus that funny socialist parable
The explosive first chapter of modern Tea Party history, starting around 2009, was unexpected. The sheeple seemed too ovine, they drink too much fluoridated water, and listen to too many pietistic sermons to ever really start making politicians nervous again, I thought. But suddenly there it was -- people giving politicians the angry, unvarnished truth right between the eyes, some pols even sneaking out of town meetings that made them extremely jittery.
What followed was too predictable -- prognosticating it would have felt like playing checkers with a 5-year-old: the movement mellowed, the furious citizenry believed rumors that they'd regained power, they ran candidates and they got elected -- whooppee! Where do we go from here, and all that.
Since then, things have gone back to what they were. Republicans got elected and (golly gee) "took back" the US House of Representatives. It would be lovely if this or any such turnabout brought any real change, but their promises of rolling back Obamananism in Washington have led to no results worth mentioning -- not compared to the desperatedly needed CHANGEs they promised! Past "Republican Revolutions" have CHANGEd nothing -- this "half portion" has brought more of the same. Here's a fine little expose of how they were simply bought off by the Establishment -- Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington and Switches Sides, why does this feel like "deja vu all over again":
http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2012/05/21/484283/how-banks-bought-the-tea-party/?mobile=nc
HOW BANKS BOUGHT THE TEA PARTY: Cash Transforms Populist Insurgents To Reliable Vote For Financial Industry
A highly telling photo caption in the article: "Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) erupts at a constituent who asked about the bank lobby". Note the highly damning chart that says Walsh received SEVENTY THOUSAND BUCKS in donations from a combination of "Banks enrolled in TARP" and the "American Banker's Association"!!!............. The bad news of this era includes that drones are going to freely fly through our skies, surveilling, inhibiting or killing us according to Establishment whim -- but this article brings the good news that
Local Governments Have the Power to Restrict Drone Surveillance in the US
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/05/local-governments-have-power-restrict-drone-surveillance-us
God bless the Electronic Frontiers Foundation -- they're a very professional yet very grassroots/populist org! ............. This joke makes a great point even if it requires "willing suspension of disbelief" regarding the GOP's real nature:
I recently asked my neighbors' little girl what she wanted to be when she Grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her Parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'
She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'
Her parents beamed with pride.
'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that! You can come over to my house and mow the Lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you Over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'
Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

Ron Paul in eclipse? Hardly! Summary of dirty tricks against him
From his webmaster:
Yesterday afternoon, Minnesota was added to the list of Ron Paul wins with a stunning victory.
Out of the 40 national delegates Minnesota will send to the Tampa, Florida Republican National Convention in August, a whopping 32 are Ron Paul supporters!
It was incredible.
But the truth is, we're not done yet!
That's why, if you haven’t yet given to what is likely the final money bomb of Ron Paul's political career, hope you will contribute as generously as you can IMMEDIATELY.
You see, there are still state conventions in Iowa, Washington, Missouri, and elsewhere where we’re working feverishly to pick up new delegate spots and take over key positions within the Republican Party.
These final battles are critical to our R3VOLUTION.
Each victory not only means you and I will have greater influence on the Republican Party, but it also sends a loud and clear message that is being heard all over the country . . .
You and I are not going away – not until free markets, sound money, and respect for individual liberty are finally restored in America.
That’s always been what this campaign is all about.
So please, if you haven't yet given, please contribute as generously as you can right away!
For Liberty,
John Tate
Campaign Manager
P.S. If you haven’t yet given to what is likely the final money bomb of Ron Paul's political career, I hope you will contribute as generously as you can IMMEDIATELY.
There are still several critical fights going on throughout the country.
And each victory brings us one step closer to restoring sound money, free markets, and respect for individual liberty in America.
Paid for by Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Committee
www.ronpaul2012.com
This via one of the PN egroups -- but it is NOT a lost cause:
The delegate strategy is working. Despite the Dirty tricks in red below
That is the way we will impact the platform in Tampa. That is the way we will begin the process of change. It is through the caucuses that we are attracting youth, like the twenty-one year old woman recently elected to the national committee from Maine or the Ron Paul Hispanics or the Independents who have never been involved in party politics.
.
Yes there is pain.
.
The establishment turned off the air conditioning at the Arizona State GOP Convention last weekend, trying to sweat the Ronulans into leaving.
.
In Oklahoma they pulled out a ballroom divider to cordon off Ron Paul supporters and shut them out of participation. Later they turned out the lights. Voice votes that were clearly lost were declared won.
.
In Carson County, Nevada they turned off a microphone when a Hispanic tried to speak, they knew that Hispanics were for Ron Paul.
.
In Minnesota they told their people not to vote for any delegate under the age of fifty.
.
In Alaska, they defeated the majority by retaining the committee which interpreted rules and later, after taking the delegation, reluctantly gave up the party control to the new majority but transferred all of the money out of the Republican Party accounts.
.
In Virginia, at a District Convention, they coaxed the Ron Paul delegation outside and then locked the door. The pastor of the church that was hosting the event was, himself, locked outside.
.
In Missouri they had all the delegates sign up at County Conventions and then had their County Chairman take the rolls outside and lock them in their car trunks so they could block roll call voting and have their chairman declare lost voice votes as won. At another convention delegates were arrested.
.
Our people have been punched, yelled at, lied to and worked until they can hardly stand. But on they come, fighting for their children, fighting for their future, angry at the corruption of the banks, of Wall Street, of the lobbyists, of the congress, of the White House. The battle for liberty is not over. It has just taken on a new phase. It cannot be stopped by the national media. If that were the case it would never have been born in the first place.
.
And some will say that it is a lost cause, which I will not concede but it does remind me of Clarence Darrows famous line, Lost causes are the only ones worth fighting for.

Good news: Firefox creators come through for freedom!
We rejoiced over this news at the PN meeting in Asheville NC tonight. It should be a small thing for all of us, whether individual or corporate, to politely demand that bureaucrats go through proper procedure in challenging us -- but it isn't. People just cave in -- corporations are only to happy to capitulate..... but not this time. Sure, Mozilla's business depends on true internet freedom, but there's been one huge capitulation after another in the death of our civilization, not least by big business. In particular, folks go weak in the knees (or wet their pants) if GOVERNMENT comes to call. What Mozilla has done now is simply what your Patriot Network recommends for everyone -- at the very least, tell the bureaucrats or their henchmen you expect them to go through proper channels in any complaints they have has against you. Sometimes that's all it takes. /\/.\/\/.

Homeland Security Wants Mozilla to Pull “Domain Seizure” Add-On
May 10, 2011 by POPEYE

(TORRENT FREAK) Homeland Security’s ICE unit is not happy with a Firefox add-on that allows the public to circumvent the domains seizures carried out during the past several months. In an attempt to correct this ‘vulnerability’ in their anti-piracy strategy, ICE have asked Mozilla to pull the add-on from their site. Unfortunately for them Mozilla denied the request, arguing that this type of censorship may threaten the open Internet.
Last month we were the first to draw attention to a nifty Firefox add-on called “MAFIAA Fire.”
The add-on maintains a list of all the domains that ICE (hence the antidote, ‘fire’) has seized and redirects their users to an alternative domain if the sites in question have set one up. The developers told TorrentFreak that they coded it to demonstrate the futility of the domain seizures, which they find objectionable.
Homeland Security’s ICE unit got wind of the add-on and almost immediately took action to have it taken offline. Although the add-on can be hosted anywhere, they asked Mozilla to remove it from their repository just a few days after it first appeared there.
“Recently the US Department of Homeland Security contacted Mozilla and requested that we remove the Mafiaa Fire add-on,” explained Mozilla General Counsel and Vice President of Business Affairs Harvey Anderson. “The ICE Homeland Security Investigations unit alleged that the add-on circumvented a seizure order DHS had obtained against a number of domain names.”
However, where ICE might have expected a swift take down from Mozilla, the legal and business affairs department of the tech company was not planning to honor the request so easily.
“Our approach is to comply with valid court orders, warrants, and legal mandates, but in this case there was no such court order,” Anderson explains.
According to Anderson complying with the request without any additional information would threaten open Internet principles. So, instead of taking the add-on offline they replied to ICE with a set of 11 well-crafted questions.
Interestingly enough, Mozilla never heard from ICE again.
We can only guess how often U.S. authorities try similar mild censorship requests, but if we look at all the companies and services that kicked out Wikileaks last year we have to assume that it’s not the first time. Only a few dare to stand up to such requests, which is a worrying situation.
“One of the fundamental issues here is under what conditions do intermediaries accede to government requests that have a censorship effect and which may threaten the open Internet,” says Anderson.
“Longterm, the challenge is to find better mechanisms that provide both real due process and transparency without infringing upon developer and user freedoms traditionally associated with the Internet,” he adds.
TorrentFreak got in touch with one of the MAFIAA Fire developers, who told us that ICE never contacted them with a takedown request. And although the add-on would still be available on their own website if Mozilla pulled it, he was happy that they chose to put up a fight.
“Hats off to Mozilla for sticking up to them, at first we weren’t sure if Mozilla would even host it due to its controversial nature, but they truly backed up their open source supporting words with actions,” the developer told us.
Indeed, Mozilla deserves to be applauded here for judging ICE’s request by its content, and not by the envelope in which it was sent.
Meanwhile, the MAFIAA Fire team has published a Chrome version of the add-on today. Both add-ons are Open Source and available on the official website, which also has a mirror here to ensure continuity.
Looks like ICE’s request to Mozilla just backFIREd…

Brokered convention taking shape
Jeffrey Phelps
New developments are dashing any hopes Romney would escape the RNC unscathed and emerge on the other side as the easy Republican nominee.
Surfacing Thursday was a damaging and revealing run-down of the circumstances revolving around who is and isn't a bound delegate and what may end up being a game changer for Paul.
With 11 states now in the books for Paul, to Romney's 18 and only 11 states left to start their primary or caucus process, Ron Paul has seemingly "stolen" enough delegates in the undecided states and will likely gain enough in states to come, virtually assuring a brokered convention at the RNC in August.
In addition to developments stating there may not actually be such thing as a bound delegate at the national level after all, Ron Paul may actually be truly nipping at Romney's heels, despite recent establishment media reports that state otherwise.
Current, typical estimates show Romney around 200 or fewer delegates away from locking up the nomination. The problem with that scenario is the fact that Romney has actually only officially won 18 states thus far and may not be able to gain enough delegates between now and Utah's last primary in June to garner the required 1,144 delegates necessary to win the nomination.
Aside from automatically discarding Santorum's and Gingrich's seven total states and all those combined delegates as not yet being countable for either Paul or Romney, it's starting to look as if there will not be enough delegates left for Romney to have a chance of winning the nomination outright.
Especially considering many of the remaining at-large delegates will be largely split between Paul and Romney as the race continues to unfold. Romney is likely to continue winning the majority of the delegates in the states where winner takes all, and Paul is likely to continue winning the states that hold a separate delegate selection process, much like the 11 states he's already taken.
The combination of the delegates Paul has won in those 11 states, the delegates taken in the seven states Gingrich and Santorum combined to win, in addition to all the delegates Paul is going to continue to win in the states that have yet to officially conclude, all combine to a total likely superseding the amount Romney could afford the other candidates to reach in order to get to 1,144 by Tampa.
There's only so many available.
The media still generally refuses to update the actual totals, based on the current manipulation tactic that has people largely believing many delegates are bound to vote for the candidate that won their particular state, typically in proportion to how much that candidate may have initially won by, among other deciding factors.
As it turns out, that may not actually be the case at all. It may turn out that taking the time to figure all that out may have actually been, instead, a waste of time .
The current perception given by elite media is based on there being a rule in place binding party delegates to vote for the candidate that won certain bound states, whereas actual RNC rules prohibit state election rules or party platforms from having any influence on the eventual delegates and how they decide to vote at the RNC.
Those laws were already clearly explained by the RNC in 2008 when this very issue arose, ironically enough, regarding a John McCain delegate in Utah that wanted to switch their vote to, none other than, Mitt Romney when they reached the RNC.
Attorneys for the RNC have clearly stated the Republican and Democratic parties are, in essence, non-binding, non-governmental private clubs and do not hold any weight with regard to actual GOP election laws and the 'official' caucus that takes place at the RNC, every 4 years.
According to FairVote.org, Jenneifer Sheehan, Legal Counsel for the RNC, plainly stated in a 2008 letter to Nancy Lord, Utah National Committeewoman, several weeks before the convention,
The RNC does not recognize a state's binding of national delegates, but considers each delegate a 'free agent' who can vote for whoever they choose.
The national convention allows delegates to vote for the individual of their choice, regardless of whether the person's name is officially placed into the nomination or not.
This means, much to Romney's dismay, of all the delegates that finally make it to Tampa, just as it was determined to be the case for one of his '08 delegates, are all allowed to vote for anyone they choose, even if that happens to be Rick Santorum, for instance.
The twist to the story however is that the vast majority of the delegates emerging from the states thus far, that aren't Romney's, have actually stated to be voting for Ron Paul.

Supposed "anti-semite" Celente finds agreement with Israeli brass
I've sung his praises here before, and will do it again until world recognizes the merits of his assertions and overall disgust with the the System. This is from Gerald Celente's own Trends Journal. You might want to subscribe to its email list. Would urge you to check in regularly at http://www.trendsresearch.com/index.php but I just tried it and its insanely loud and feral music track just half broke my stereo speakers.
.............I just watched another great show in which the unsayable was repeatedly, quietly, doggedly said in the face of great opposition and blather: an interview with Dr. Normal Finkelstein on a BBC show called HARDtalk. The hostess was unidentified, but she was a REAL yankee! /\/.\/\/.
TOP ISRAELI OFFICIALS AGREE WITH CELENTE'S TRENDS JOURNAL®
KINGSTON, NY, 10 MAY 2012 — Trend forecaster Gerald Celente, writing in the Spring Trends Journal, was virtually alone in his assessment of an Israeli/United States military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities as an act of folly that would have catastrophic consequences.
Now, weeks after his warning – which noted the irrationality of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Barak’s determination to strike Iran – his conclusions are being echoed by some of Israel’s most prominent public figures:
Bombing Iran is “the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Anyone attacking Iran needs to understand that it could start a regional war which will include missile fire from Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.” Former Mossad director Meir Dagan
“They [the Netanyahu administration] talk too much, they talk too loud. They are creating an atmosphere and a momentum that may go out of their control. There is no reason at this time … to initiate an Israeli military strike.” Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
Iranian leadership is composed of “very rational people” who will not decide to build nuclear weapons. General Benny Gantz, current Israeli Army Chief of Staff
“I don’t believe in a leadership that makes decisions based on messianic feelings . . . one of the results of an Israeli attack on Iran could be a dramatic acceleration of the Iranian nuclear program.” Yuval Diskin, former chief of the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency
Despite the public misgivings of these current and former highly placed Israeli authorities – who call into question the judgment, honesty, and even the sanity of Israeli leaders – the United States and its leaders remain united in their unwavering and unquestioning support.
Celente contends that should the US join Israel in an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, not only will it find itself embroiled in yet another losing war, but this time it will be a war without borders … World War III.
Moreover, he asks, “In light of the accusations and threats made by American leaders who ardently insist that ‘all options are on the table’ regarding bombing Iran, why are there no highly placed American authorities castigating America’s war hawks for being messianic, stupid and deranged?”
Trends in the Making? Can these ominous warnings by prominent Israelis lead to a shift in Israeli policy? If so, would it mitigate America’s otherwise unconditional support for Israel? Can anything impede the march to war with Iran, or is war inevitable? What role will the US Presidential elections play in this critical unfolding scenario?
Remember, for over three decades Celente and The Trends Journal have been ahead of the news and on top of the trends well before anyone else.

Another quietly smashing article. "This is not a joke"!
It's not a joke about bureaucrats shuffling papers and killing years by doing (or hiring) studies that are purely make-work: it'[s what bureaucrats do.
Two useful words come to mind at times like this -- Kafkaesque and Orwellian. If they're not already in your repertoire, I beg you to add them! WORDS ARE WEAPONS. The enemy weighs every syllable for shades of meaning and political use -- we urgently need to, too:

This Is Not a Joke: Government Issues Study of a Study About Studies
Email 54 Smaller Font Text Larger Text | Print
The Pentagon was inundated with so many studies in 2010 that it commissioned a study to determine how much it cost to produce all those studies.
Now the Government Accountability Office has reviewed the Pentagon’s study and concluded in a report this week that it’s a flop.
The study of a study of studies began in 2010 when Defense Secretary Robert Gates complained that his department was “awash in taskings for reports and studies.” He wanted to know how much they cost.
Two years later, the Pentagon review is still continuing, which prompted Congress to ask the GAO to look over the Pentagon’s shoulder. What they found lacked military precision.
The GAO found only nine studies that had been scrutinized by the Pentagon review, but the military was unable to “readily retrieve documentation” for six of the reports.
The Department of Defense’s “approach is not fully consistent with relevant cost estimating best practices and cost accounting standards,” the GAO concluded. In fact, they often did not include items like manpower, the report found.
The Pentagon “partially concurs” with the GAO’s report.
The cost of the study of the study of the studies was not available from the GAO.

Cops Should Act Like Firemen in a Free Society
by Mark R. Crovelli
It may sound fanciful, but these are the exact principles on which America was founded. Nobody has the right to bother you unless you personally are guilty of some crime or offense. I'm telling you, Mr. Crovelli's worldview may sound fanciful or hyperbolic, but he is simply describing how a free society must -- and absolutely can -- operate. NO personal income tax, NO draft, no compelled performance of anything YOU don't want to do and don't feel obligated to. Think freedom -- live freedon -- Vote for Ron Paul.

"Ron Paul still in the running with millions in funding
.... and zero debt". Every day such headlines condemn the faithlessness and cluelessness -- or corruption -- of the bajillions of ameriKans who refuse to vote for him but know better.

Please don't miss the video at the above link. It's titled RON PAUL IS BEATING MITT ROMNEY. THE MEDIA LIES! It features, believe it or not, a "soul" song lauding the great man from Texas -- and many scenes comparing the response of the people to Dr. Paul and Romney Bombney Zombie.
Making a 76yo grandfather run all over the country for three years is no way for a supposedly great country to act. ameriKa needs to become America again by simply throwing aside the formalities and making Ron president NOW -- especially since we haven't had one for over three years now.

Shocking message on SC legislature's systemic (and systematic) corruption
Once again an email has come in from Columbia-area activist Talbert Black. The news is very bad. The details may not sound very vivid, but one thing that should raise the ire of any reader is the fact that incumbents have found yet another way to freeze out challengers in elections.
Come to today's PN meeting in Simpsonville!
/\/.\/\/.
Coup d'etat in Columbia?
I recieved the following yesterday from Harry Kibler, Founder of RINO Hunt. I appreciate him taking the time to write this. I haven't had the time to, and he said it better than I could.
No Challengers Allowed
The sound of cronyism and the good ole boy system was heard from Charleston to Pickens Counties Wednesday with the decision of the South Carolina Supreme Court. As described by The State newspaper, “Up to 100 candidates ordered off June Ballots. Decision sweeps away many challengers, but largely spares incumbents in June races”.
What Happened?
Within the last two years, the State Ethics Commission made some changes to the filing process. While change itself is not a bad thing, the new requirements are confusing and misleading. All challengers must file their Statement of Economic Interest online as well as print a copy which needed to be submitted to the County Political Party at the time of their Party filing. In years past, candidates could download or obtain a copy of the form. Once completed, they would submit it to the Ethics Commission. There was no electronic filing at the time. To further complicate the matter, incumbent candidates can rely on their previously filed Statement on file with the Commission and were provided a longer timeframe to file an updated form.
Statements of Economic Interest (SEI) are simply disclosures of income and other assets.
In many cases, challengers attempted to comply with the new law by providing a receipt of their SEI along with their filing forms at the Party Headquarters. Others filed their SEI after the Party filing deadline passed. One example of the difference between an incumbent and challenger is in the Pickens County Senate race. Rex Rice, the challenger filed his candidacy paperwork with the County Party on March 16th and was told by the County GOP that he needed to file his SEI online which he did on April 9th. Incumbent Senator Larry Martin filed his SEI on April 10th. Under the ruling of the SC Supreme Court Rex Rice must be removed from the ballot, but Senator Martin will remain.
How did this happen?
How this happened is more complicated than what happened. South Carolina is a State that invests a large majority of its authority in one branch of government; the Legislature. The Legislature not only retains their authority to write the law, they also retain the authority to implement or execute the law in many cases. This becomes apparent when you look at the recent battle for real government reform in South Carolina. However, it gets worse; much worse. The Legislature also appoints the Judges. That’s right, they create law, in many cases execute the law and they appoint Judges that review and rule on the law.
For anyone that has read the many newsletters sent out over the last several months concerning the Department of Administration and reform, you should now understand the ramifications of a government with an imbalance of power. This is why we shouted from the rooftop what they are calling historic reform is anything but historic or reform. Separation of power is the only thing that preserves our Representative Republic from becoming a pure Democracy or worse.
Who is to blame?
There is plenty of blame to go around. First and foremost is the Legislature itself is to blame. Once again, they chose to create law that obviously benefitted themselves just like they did when they created their own special retirement system whereby they not only collect retirement benefits while still working, but retirement benefits that only apply to them and to no other State or Local government employee. So what we have is a Legislature that serves and protects itself first.
There is blame to place on the SC Supreme Court. In my opinion, they did not view this case with a clear understanding of equal protection under the law. If a law is written in a manner that does not apply to all people equally the law should be overturned. This case seems to shout inequality between incumbents and challengers.
The South Carolina GOP certainly has a responsibility to not only understand the law but to make sure that all candidates comply with the law. The SCGOP has attorneys to provide legal advice to the Party. The Party should have made sure that County Parties understood and complied with the law. In many cases challengers were given incorrect instructions from the County Party on meeting the requirements.
Finally, the candidates have responsibility to make sure they comply with the law. The only wiggle room that a candidate has in this situation is the fact that this is the first election cycle since the new law has been implemented. A reasonable person would expect everyone seeking election would have to comply with the same law. They may also have had expectations that the Party would provide appropriate advice on what they needed to do in order to be on the ballot.
Who loses?
All South Carolinians lose in this fiasco. In many cases the voters will not have a choice in who represents them in the South Carolina Senate or House. South Carolinians lost the opportunity for real reform in our State’s government because they lost the opportunity to elect real reformers. It appears that we are stuck with the same ole good ole boys that created this mess in the first place.
Challengers lost. Challengers lost not only the money they invested into their campaigns, in some case they had to give up their job in order to run for office. The supporters of challengers lost not only the money they had donated to the challenger, but the hope for a more conservative State government.
Among those that lost the most are the activist that sacrificed their time and money. Many conservative activists in South Carolina have invested years of dedication in making citizens aware of the many issues with our State’s Legislature and convincing them to become involved in the process. Many of the citizens actually became candidates for the first time.
South Carolina lost! South Carolina lost the opportunity to reach beyond last place in education. We lost the opportunity to move back from the front of the line in domestic violence. We lost the opportunity to reduce our dependency on federal funding which is a result of unbridled government growth and spending. We lost our opportunity for real government reform and restoring the balance of power in Columbia. We lost our opportunity for real taxes reform and ending the choosing of winners and losers with government controlled economic development.
Yes, it appears these things may be lost. Lost not because the people of South Carolina were not willing to work hard for improvement and reform, but lost because we cannot depend on the same politicians that created the problem to fix it.
Everyone except the education apparatus and the Legislature understands the reason South Carolina remains dead last in education is because of the bureaucracy that mandates a one-size fits-all mentality. However, South Carolina’s Legislature has the same answer year after year; more money! Everyone except our Legislature understands having the lowest taxes and least government regulation in the nation would bring thousands of companies and jobs to South Carolina. Legislators also understand that if they were to give up that power, they also give up their influence with Big Donors to their campaigns and to the SCGOP as well. Just remember, the feathers they used to line their nest came from your bed.
The larger question is; what are you going to do about it?
I did not start this fight, but it is one that I plan to win. It is a fight that must be won if our children will have a future as free men and women devoid of punitive and confiscatory taxes and unwarranted regulations. It has become a fight that will require no allegiances other than to freedom itself. It must become personal, very personal! The battle lines must now be redrawn and Party politics must be forgotten. We must develop a new plan to replace those who have created the chaos.
Are you up for the fight?

Policy Council calls for SC to break from the D.C. behemoth; MORE ON RON
South Carolina Policy Council -- it's the kind of name that conjures up bureaucracies with big budgets and small brains. But the SCPC is not of that ilk. It has for 26 years calling for fiscal and political sanity for the PN's home state.
I've received a mailer from them that is most refreshing. Clearly carrying echoes of what we, the people are talking about these days, it daringly calls for SC to "DECLARE INDEPENDENCE" from Washington, DC. Great idea -- the relationship has been twisted and sick for many, many years.
Leftists, it says, "are determined to use the lure of federal tax dollars to coerce the states to adopt the politics the leftists want them to adopt.
"Granted, this didn't start with the current administration. This has been going on at least since the days of FDR's New Deal. And it has occurred with both major political parties in charge.
"But it has gotten exponentially worse over the past three years. And it's time to declare our independence from federal coercion!.......
"Care to guess what percentage of South Carolina's budget passed last year is dependent on federal dollars? Ten Twenty percent? Thirty percent?!!
"No! The state budget passed and signed into law last year depends on federal dollars for an obscene 38.5 percent of the budget!
"That's a staggering $8.43 billion in federal tax dollars."
The letter goes on to point out that this money doesn't fall from the sky out of nowhere with no strings attached. (Any money government has, it takes from somebody on pain of something horrible.) It adds an angle I hadn't thought off -- when the inevitable day arrives that the fedgov goes bust, it will mean (at the very least) a drop 38% of the funds this state operates on. But of course there is also the "favors" DC expects from anybody it throws money at, even if the money ultimately came from that entity.
The mailer goes on to detail the activist resources its "DECLARE INDEPENDENCE from Washington DC" plan will offer. It mentions that thenerve.com, a site our Executive Director frequently shares via PN egroups, is a Council project. All told, it's good to know the group's working for us in Columbia. Check it out at SCPOLICYCOUNCIL.ORG/
.........Here's a RICH video on the Paul campaign and the zombie Stalin games anti-Paul GOPers are pulling against it. It's a few days old, but will remain current as long as the GOP is trying to serve as the Junior Dummacrat Party:

Again I apologize for the lack of formatting here. I've looked at the help videos on how to work in the new format but they say nothing about paragraph breaks, so it's a malfunction of some kind.
