Freedom of speech applied to a minor-league GOP messiah; media whine at Ron Paul's portfolio

GOP candidate Huntsman to appear on the PBS NEWSHOUR Thursday

Former Utah Governor, ambassador to China and 2012 GOP Presidential candidate Jon Huntsman Jr. will sit down with Senior Correspondent Jeffrey Brown on the PBS NEWSHOUR tomorrow (Thursday, August 25). The interview is the latest in the NEWSHOUR’s VOTE 2012 series on the GOP presidential nomination. Brown will ask Huntsman about the U.S. economy, jobs and the conflict in Libya, along with what makes him different from the other candidates vying for the Republican nomination.

Video excerpts from the interview will be available on the NewsHour’s website before the segment airs on Thursday night’s broadcast.

Transcripts should also be available in advance of the broadcast; please email mtayloe@newshour.org or call me at 703-998-1855 if you would like to receive a transcript once they’re ready.

Yes, it's an absolute disgrace how they let people like him out in public. DO you have any theories as to why?

................Wow, ameriKan socialism in super-plain English:

The folks who are getting free stuff, Don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, Because the folks who are paying for the free stuff, Can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff. And, the folks who are paying for the free stuff, Want the free stuff to stop. And the folks who are getting the free stuff, Want even MORE free stuff on top of the free stuff they’re getting already!

Now..... The people who are forcing people to PAY for the free stuff, Have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, That the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, Are being mean, selfish, heartless, prejudiced or racist.

So .... the people who are GETTING the free stuff, Have been convinced they need to HATE the people who are PAYING for the free stuff because they are selfish. And they are promised more free stuff if they will vote for the people who force the people who pay for the free stuff to give them.

............Here's a perfect case of how everything is upside-down and inside-out with krazy mixed-up liberals. Just as they only bring up the First Amendment in defense of pornographers or the demented national Endowment of the Arts, they only invoke patriotism when trying to defame a true patriot or drum up support for the absolute antithesis of patriotism -- ameriKan young folks dying in the supposed defense of other countries.

We have my mother to thank for this item. I'm trying to think of any friend who has a parent who'd do likewise, but can't seem to!

..............Here's a fascinating, ominous proposition

Did Fracking Cause the Virginia Earthquake?

Personally, I feel the earth is doomed as long as we greedy, materialistic humans are living on it. Liberals are right about some things, but never go far enough in the right direction.... whoa, a bad and a great headline from same "Cowboy Byte" email:

http://cowboybyte.com/447/virginia-nuclear-plant-shut-down-by-quake/

Tuesday’s Virginia earthquake triggered the shutdown of a nearby nuclear power plant and spurred declarations of “unusual events” at plants as far away as Michigan, U.S. authorities reported....

http://cowboybyte.com/436/oil-not-always-a-%E2%80%98fossil-fuel%E2%80%99/

Cornell University’s Dr Thomas Gold (1920–2004) argued that oil is a “renewable primordial soup continually manufactured by the earth under ultrahot conditions and tremendous pressures. As this substance migrates toward the surface, it is attacked by bacteria, making it appear to have an organic origin dating back to the dinosaurs”....

Me, I've always instinctively felt that both the "fossil fuels" buzzphrase and the dinosaur-juice notion seemed like pure poppycock. So schoolmarmish! And it's just too pat the way the System uses them to stampede us re energy and the environment -- supports the "extremely ancient earth" theology central to humanism and evolutionism, too.
