Solutions are so simple -- so much of the time
The above is one of the principles I work hardest to lay down polemically. Everything they're doing to us, they justify by calling it too complicated for hoi polloi to ever understand. But consider the gang problem, for instance:

There you go -- police show up, even canceled. What's the worst that would happen if cities or states simply outlawed gang membership? I believe the record is unbroken -- I'm the only commentator putting these things in such terms.
