Indexes of economic freedom are interesting things. The Heritage Foundation's is perhaps the main one everybody's heard about -- but typically for neocons, it considers money and finance as things in themselves while other considerations languish.

It is great that they have the honesty to report the bleak state of American economics....but are they ready to admit that it kind of disqualifies us as world dictator?
If we run our own country so abysmally, maybe we're not in a good position to push other nations around.
