Sharing important news and views is a huge part of the culture war. Noting the existence of especially good, responsible news organs and passing them on to others is something we should all do regularly. Of the handful that have been mobbing my Inbox and not getting gonged lately, Godfather Politics passes most tests unusually well.

Going after Obama re racial hypocrisy is long past due! Nailing the ethnic cleansing which "our side" is perpetrating in Libya is too delicious for words. The second URL above is, as you'd expect, a line-up of impossibly stupid and evil things Dummacrat politicians have said at microphones. You may have seen some of them before, but this is the richest I've come across. Former California gov Jerry Brown's gem beats all: “The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs."

The next quiz in my vetting system is what an entity has to say about Washington's warmongering --er, excuse me, "Operation Infinite Justice". The good news is found just two stories from the top of

Let me see.... the proper way of describing the above situation would be "realizing that for no earthly reason certain people hate ameriKa, and that we've got to chase them all over the globe trying to wipe them out, and then realizing that we're actually liberating the countries they go into as much as helping ourselves by inviting ourselves in and smashing everything, not least basic human rights, which we have to do because we're the greatest nation on earth and without us the earth would be missing its greatest nation and go boo-hoo."

So..... could it be too much to ask that the beautiful, very orthographic new site also dare to criticize the GOP? That's one link in the chain that always breaks first. Certain suppressed truths can come out in gobs, but it usually turns out only to be a prelude to Republican grandstanding and cultism. Not so here! OK, they laud Israel as "the Middle East’s Only Democracy" elsewhere. They've passed the main smell tests and failed the acid test -- not comparatively a bad grade, except that Zionism is half the total score now because of it's hijacking and Frankenstein transformation of these United States. Still, Godfather Politics is an OK site to share with your skeptical friends with the proviso that the Godfatherites need to think one subject through a bit further.

Thrilling news when anyone is caught drifting away from Obumr. We'll just leave unasked what other custom-engineered socialist messiah they'll turn to next in their public-educated mental state, and enjoy the prospect of this grotesque experiment in identity politics ("President" Obama") coming to an end in just 16 months. But note -- the comments section starts of the above page (at this writing) with a series of postings decrying the slow strangling of freedom in comments sections in the Age of Obamanian Change-Hope. Perry dissing Bush after doing everything one man can to imitate him during his announcement speech last week --W's mannerisms and tone, his insanely socialist ideas, the works?

Oh, that's right -- he has to make those noises to pacify those who really didn't care for the Bush-like oink-oinks in his speech announcing for the White House. Pardon my distraction -- or my cynicism, take your pick.

Wow, how about this whopper from it next? "A Perry victory would cement the Republican Party’s shift away from Bush’s approach to a more libertarian, anti-government GOP." Oh, boy, does this mean that not only politiicians but media scribblers now have the ability to say a thing and have it instantly become so? If Perry turns out one BIT more libertarian than W, I'll eat fried chicken on the roof! The pattern is that every new Pezident is much worse than the others, no exceptions.

Please remember, Georgie went through all these same motions on the campaign trail. He spoke in Columbia. Dr. Clarkson chatted with him afterward and came home with stars in his eyes about this down-to-earth new political solution. I tried hard not to play the yankee cynic and burst his bubble -- Robert was always assuming and bringing out the very best in people.
