High-tax states drive out residents -- duh!

Taxes in Xew Jersey obviated my ever owning a home there ($15,000 per year on an ordinary split level), so I pulled out of my beautiful $750/month ghetto apartment and moved to Dixie. 23 years later, it's both gratifying and aggravating to see the status of the problem.

http://teapartyupdate.com/this-surprising-thing-that-happens-to-states-who-raise-taxes/
This is What Happens to States that Raise Taxes

They focus on Connecticut, a state that should be white-picket-fence New England perfection. "Earlier this week, the Nutmeg State’s legislature approved a collection of new taxes to close a two-year, $40 billion budget to help pay the multibillion-dollar tab to repair and replace the state’s dilapidated roads and bridges. The package includes a 50-cent-per-pack hike in cigarette taxes and a bump in tax rates on corporations and the state’s wealthiest earners" -- will you kindly tell me what they're doing with state funds if roads and bridges are falling down? ROADS AND BRIDGES are the average shmoe's first idea of what taxes are for -- with some justification!

"The Ex-patriot movement consists of Americans who have grown weary of increasing taxes and have moved elsewhere to slough off the tough tax burden associated with living in the U.S." The pun is no doubt unintentional, but rich! Clearly they meant to say expatriate, but many expatriates are for sure ex-patriots too. The oath you take to renounce citizenship is pretty serious stuff, but sometimes I feel ready to take it any old time. Finding an affordable country that doesn't hate ameriKans with good reason, there's the rub.

So happens we heard from one of our own experts on the subject at two recent PN meetings -- Dr. Steven Yates. The news is mostly good, very good, in his new homeland of Chile -- except that the elongated country's latest "massive" earthquake was in a city long touted as an ideal expat destination:

Pretty sure Iquique is the city with no water of its own, where all water is piped to town from 90 miles away. How'd you like to get caught there the day the pipes finally rupture? I'm so negative, huh.

A younger Chomsky on some very old dialectical tricks

BrasscheckTV again provides a video that throws much-needed light on the tricks the establishment plays on the citizens. Our "leaders'" choice of words is, as Prof. Noam Chomsky says, always heavily weighted with duplicity. In this they are Orwell's 1984 characters come to life (war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength).

A country's military, if it feels it must have one, is supposed to exist to defend the country's borders. "Our" troops get sent all over the world in "defense" of "our national interests" -- meaning whatever  selfish, cynical purposes the establishment wants, normally for the express purpose of enriching themselves (defense contracts, weaker countries' raw materials etc.)

When the politicians and bureaucrats yammer about the need to stop discrimination, they actually want to kill people's faculty for being discriminating -- and to run their own affairs as they see fit. No doubt you can think of other examples.

This is a very, VERY important message that anybody within earshot of the politicians' (and media mavens') yammer needs to keep constantly in mind!

A stunning quote from a financial villain

You sometimes hear Keynesian economics mentioned in tones of disgust and imprecation -- and rightly so. He was as I understand it the father of today's insane tax-and-spend economics.

Politicians love to spend money with wild (indeed crazy) abandon and John Maynard Keynes (1883-1946) is their presiding spirit in it today. He posited that a country in economic trouble could spend itself to prosperity. How do you think it's working? Like most crazies he did have moments of coherence. At some point in his career he uttered this very sound statement:

Lenin is said to have declared that the best way to destroy the capitalist system was to debauch the currency. By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. By this method they not only confiscate, but they confiscate arbitrarily; and, while the process impoverishes many, it actually enriches some. The sight of this arbitrary rearrangement of riches strikes not only at security but [also] at confidence in the equity of the existing distribution of wealth.

Those to whom the system brings windfalls, beyond their deserts and even beyond their expectations or desires, become "profiteers," who are the object of the hatred of the bourgeoisie [once successful upper middle class entrepreneurs], whom the inflationism has impoverished, not less than of the proletariat [working people]. As the inflation proceeds and the real value of the currency fluctuates wildly from month to month, all permanent relations between debtors and creditors, which form the ultimate foundation of capitalism, become so utterly disordered as to be almost meaningless; and the process of wealth-getting degenerates into a gamble and a lottery.

Lenin was certainly right.  There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.

Keynes' antithesis was the "Austrian school" of economists, free-market advocates led in effect by Friedrich Hayek and Ludwig von Mises. It overlapped with the modern Libertarian movement, featuring great minds like the late Murray Rothbard. Rothbard loved the Confederate flag and its meaning in the fight for freedom in the face of statist tyranny, despite having zero personal connections with our region. (He was born in New York the son of a Russian and a Polish Jew.) When he died in 1995 it was said that at his request the flag would always bedeck his grave -- something or other like that.

Chomsky gently, benignly smashes all illusions

Which is good. Desperately needed. The poor interviewer! He wants to return home with some shred of what he arrived with, but..... there's nothing left:

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/28644.html
Propaganda Inc.:
"Truth seeking media is a sham"

As you listen to the parts about COINTELPRO, remember that your Patriot Network was deemed important and scary enough for the government to attempt to shut it down -- not only once under that name but more recently in the guise of "dismantlement." For a while there Big Brother was convinced that our Asheville club (actually an unrelated study group some of our ex-participants had started) was the devil incarnate,

Your government hates freedom and people that know and demand their rights. It seems to hate everything decent and want to kill it.

The good news is your PN is still here, and plans to be for a long time.

Coulter: "Every Pro-Immigration Claim is a Lie"

I just love sweeping statements when they're true. This one is. Notice the apt reference to a parody of blustering Bill O'Reilly!

http://freedomsback.com/ann-coulter/every-pro-immigration-claim-is-a-lie/

To this stellar presentation I'd add a note about the supposed need to reunite families by letting more invaders in. Whose idea was it to separate them?

Do you see how liberals are just con artists that slink and sneak from one effort to another to throw up barriers to the truth? Are you happy being told you're evil because you want ameriKa to be America once again, or that you have to clear out to make room for these colonists?

THIS just in TOO:

The Endgame - Full White Genocide documentary

It's only 21 minutes long, a bit eccentric and repetetive, but essential! Statements from major celebrities. DON'T JUST WATCH IT, SHARE IT WITH ALL YOU KNOW.

Think I exaggerate in always calling the left establishment communist? Note how this scam was attempted -- they tried to announce poll results with no poll!

More good insights from Stefan Molyneux

I'm a libertarian (lower case), not a Libertarian (capital L). And I'm frankly rather jaded on the subject of Libertarianism (capital L). But when a thoughtful Libertarian comes along and starts expostulating, it can be very exciting..... and it sometimes boils down to paleo-conservatism, a.k.a. libertarianism.

Youtube has Autoplay now -- upper right of screen. Start Stefan talking and don't stop him for a good long while! Extreme vulgarity warning......

Who Will Pay? Austerity vs. Bailouts | Greece, Europe and The Euro!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIrtgXtEnRc

Sure, he has some ideas I don't like, but that's par for the course with most any guru. (When did I last turn you off in this space? Wish you'd tell me.) He's racially illiterate and as big a yankee coward on diversity "issues" as you'll find. But within the worldview he has, I think he has the ability to blow away cobwebs long-overdue for it. He does stand up against the anti-Confederate flag cult in a longer presentation!

Anybody who can identify his accent, there's a special reward waiting for them.
